HSS and Carrying

If Superman carries someone using Hypersonic Speed, can he drop them off at any point, or must he carry them until he is done flying/attacking?

You cannot carry someone AND use HSS at the same time. You must carry OR attack.

Yes, as Shin-goji said you cannot attack during the middle of hypersonic speed. You can attack from where you are then pick someone up or carry someone then attack once you stop. What you cannot do is carry, attack, carry because you cannot carry someone during an attack and the must be next to you to be picked up and must be dropped off where you stop moving.
