LEs?

Is it just me or is there any good level 4 LEs for CT? So far it seems that 3 of the better LEs are all level 3's(Quartermain, sci supreme, and Doom). Is that the case because as of now I have seen Fred dukes, elektra, and rita(yellowjack) and they all sux. U migt as well place 2nd and hope to get a good level 3's if so.

personally i think sue storm and clint barton are usefull but it is true that scientist supreme and doctor doom especially are the pieces to get

Yeah I am also a little bitter. I have got 4 first place finishes and 1 second place finish this month. I got 4 Elektra LE's and my LE 3 was Paibok. I look at what the value of the DoomBot, Scietist Supreme go for and see lots of people getting them as prizes this makes me think "I am WINNING tournaments for what?" A free prize, YES but shouldn't I be getting the best piece available? If not then I should get to choose which piece I want right? Wizkids could change the LE's to make the better playable ones higher rarity or simply label the characters name on the boxes, giving 1st place first choice, second place second choice and the fellowship whatever is left. This is just something to think about. If Wizkids is worried that retailers are stealing certain LE's than they could simply have retailers send in the tournament results for the people who got LE's and there name and phone number. Well thanks just a thought.

I think all Level 4 LEs stand for is the real name of big people. Fred dukes, felica hardy, Elektra and so on. Yeah it is cool to say I got elektra but, #### I wouldn't play with the normal verison of this LE and I still can't find a way to play with the LE verison. It just seems to me that it is unfair that 2nd place or third at my place get a good figure and first gets the name of some spify figure. If it wasn't for the fact that I wat Sue and Felica I would try to only place in the top 3 and hope that I gt a decent LE level 3.

There are two ways to handle this, and I've seen them both.

One, of course, is to give the figures to the players sight-unseen, or to insist the winner take the LE4.

You can also open all the figures and allow the winners to choose which one they want. This allows the winner to get a figure he wants as opposed to simply taking the LE3 being offered.

I once played in a tourney where the Judge was deciding whether or not to hold a final round between me and the second-place person. The person in second asked what the LEs were, and when he decided he liked the LE3 more than the LE4 he decided it was better not to play a final round. Not that I'd have held back one bit in that match regardless, but it certainly rubbed me the wrong way.

Where I get kinda twisted up inside is whether you should allow the second-place winner or the Fellowship winner to choose first. As you've seen in other posts, I'm a huge fan of the Fellowship prize being more important, and WizKids seems to agree, but a lot of players don't. I'll find some way to balance this in the future, but for now it kinda bugs me.

As for the LE3s being better than the LE4s... funny how that worked, innit? I don't *think* it happened on purpose, but it's certainly interesting.

Myself, I'm pleased that the "more playable" figures are easier to get (from WizKids, at least). Imagine how expensive Doctor Doombot or the Scientist Supreme would be if they were LE4!

Well, the only one I have so far is Black Cat, and she's pretty good on the condition that you have no useful team abilities on your team (since she loses the wildcard)

Don't forget George Tarleton...every always leaves him out. He is one of the most useful LE 3's...16 pts for a hydra agent with barrir/6 range...beats rookie avalanche.

I do agree LE 4's aren't so hot...but they better than the LE 5's ;)
