300 point Xplosion team

Check this out. This team rocks. I havent lost a match with it yet. 5-0

E Paramedic 10
R Taskmaster 39

Basically, goblin and Elektra perplex elektra's damage to 4, and Goblin flies her in for a big hit. Pick up an object with willpower next turn, and push elektra to attack while perplexed again at the 6 range.

Paramedic hangs in the back to heal damage to either one, and R Taskmaster is good from range, or if someone is foolish enough to base him, the 11 attack with BCF will teach them a lesson.

Destiny is probability control.

Ive had a lot of success with this team.

I am so new to this but it sounds like a freakin kick butt team!!! I like the whole perplex thing... I use it quite a bit myself!

None of your characters have any sort of defense. With a range of 6 on both Goblin and Elektra, an 8 ranged figure with a taxi is going to own you. Plus what's Elektra have for defense? Super Senses? Easily outwitted. Goblin? Will Power that does nothing to reduce damage. You go against a firelord or deathbird with a Shadowcat taxi and you are dead. I know this because I played a similar team. One point of advice....take out the outwitters first.

How is ss easy to outwit....How many figures have outwit first off in xplosion?1 and he cost over 130 pts so... then if you have someone with outwit you hvae to get through stealth to outwit it so...... you need to read the title before you go dissing someones team and screw some firelord who cares what firelord can do anyways hes not in xplosion.

yeah, ya know, i too was gonna hack your team up, until i read your last post about it how your team should only be compared to other xplosion teams. as an xplotion team, it's really good. no question.

however, against teams made from the totality of the other sets, you'd have a big problem. not just because of firelord either. it's because you've got one fig that ties up over half of the 300 built points of your team. and she's got a low defense and only 8 clicks of life. further, SS is simple to outwit, mainly because she has it the whole way down. On other figs with invulnerability, when you outwit it and then hit them for 4, usually toughness comes up, which requires another outwitter to get rid of to hit that fig for the full damage. not so with electra. you get rid of her SS just once, and because she keeps it through her whole dial, it's gone throughout the turn until she's dead. further, at only 8 clicks of life and that most teams can do at least 9 a turn with av's of 11 or higher to start, you'd have trouble.

finally, by perplexing up her damage you'd be essencially wasting her primary attack power; BFC. why not have her and the goblin perplex him up to 4 damage as a follow up to electra's BFC (And destiny's PC)? that's a potential 10 damage the second turn, as opposed to just the 4 for a perplexed electra.

anyway, i'm saying too much, as usual. glad to hear this team did well for you. do you play in lots of xplosion-only environments then?
