This guy is a beast! Stealth, Running Shot, Psychic Blast and Outwit. While also having the ability to throw a grenade that can incapacitate every figure in a 8 square radius.....oh and he can get grenades back. This is a crazy figure.

As someone who really got into the Halo ActionClix line a few years ago, and an avid Halo player, I'm certainly excited to see that WK/NECA is bringing the Halo universe into HeroClix format. The modified rules and less interesting dials of the previous incarnation of Halo ActionClix were fun at first, but never really held a candle to the complexity and fun that is the HeroClix metagame. I personally can't wait to see what else they're releasing in this set.

That having been said, the sculpt of Chief and Cortana looks a little thrown together. The previous installment had beautiful sculpts. I know they're capable of doing better than this. Dial is fantastic though, accurate to the game universe, and should bring a nice competitive edge that I think HeroClix veterans will have an interesting time properly dealing with.

Hmmm. grenades seem like they are going to be a huge problem. It's basically like a God-mode version of EE. Oh and you can also opt to incapacitate everyone instead, oh and the EE has knockback and you don't need LOS to character to start chain and it does 2 damage... I love Halo, been playing it for years. Heck I remember dissecting old Shield units and making my own custom chief clix, but this clix is going to be a monster. That first click is a monster and well...so is the rest of the dial.

i want to see a trait where at the beginning of the game you choose 2 weapons out of an option of like 6, (rockets are banned), and every turn you choose one of those weapons and it gives you cool abilities. exp.- i pick the sniper rifle i gain a twelve range ranged combat expert and a 1/6 chance to land a headshot

sounds neat... i'd rather see guns be special objects, tho. seem more in line with halo, fighting over guns and taking them when you drop people. so you can go out there with your awesome sniper rifle, but you might get killed and find your own guys getting shot by it.

Wow. They really let a Halo fanboy loose on this one, eh? Nah nah, a battle rifle definitely gives P/PB. And I remember MC being stealthy all the time. And outwit! Of course, he always had the tactical advantage in every situation. And Battlefield Req.? I just spawn grenades all the time in Halo, no problem. If you couldn't tell, /sarcasm. The other figs in this set (except the ODST) all seem at least moderately justifiable in the universe, but this? This is our Mary Sue dreams come true. Awesome fig though, very good. Horrid sculpt.

if your opponent's dumb enough to cluster his team together against this piece, then he deserves to lose. that's the problem with any team built around grenades, it relies on your opponent being retarded.

I both hope and hope not that the rare slots in HaloClix are going to be mostly duos of MC and various characters. MC & Sgt. Johnson! MC & Keys! MC & every other bit-part character! MASTER CHIEFS EVERYWHERE! Don't even have a non-duo incarnation!

Love this piece! This is the God piece we needed from the Halo set. He will end up on my normal teams. Pair him up with GOW3 General Raam and watch Superman cower in fear.

Not a huge Halo fan, but I love watching Red vs Blue.

I like the way the dial invites you to push him, so you can get to the free grenade clicks. I am glad they didn't try to make Mastersmurf indomitable.

oh and really the grenade pickup is the most simple of all when he kills an enemy in campaign he picks up however many grenades they had on them. and because not all characters in this game have grenades they had to compensate for that, this is an almost all campaign based set, it's not like their are only a certain amount of grenades on the map

This figure is absolute per awesomeness. He should have Indomitable though.

This figure, along with two other Spartans and Sgt. Johnson easily won me a tournament. I crushed Metron in the championship game with this team.

I just had a sinister idea to play this piece as a Galactus Herald. 150 Points or less. Take the Perplex as the Herald Dial. Awesome!
