V Annihilus - 129pts
V Doombot - 38pts
U Wasp - 44pts
LE Hydra Operative 128 - 14pts
V Sheild Medic - 16pts
R Invisible Girl - 37pts
V Skrull Warrior - 17
-------------------------------------------------
Total - 297

Battle formation below (First line back row. 2nd, front)

SID
WAH

Annihilus is the main heavy hitter. 3 arrows with a decent attack and 3 base damage. He can move freely by using Wasp's Avenger TA. Can also use the other TA's when needed. He is represented by the letter "A" in the above formation.

Wasp is there for taxiing, Leadership, and high defense. Represented by "W."

Hydra 128 is there for TA support of Annihilus and cheap Leadership. Represented by "H."

Shield Medic is there for Support and the TA enhancement to help Annihilus. Represented by "S."

Doombot is there for Taxiing, Leadership, and using TA Wildcard ability to help Annihilus. Represented by "D."

Invisble Girl is there for Defend. Everyone will have a base 18 defense; 19 if in Hindering. Represented by "I."

Skrull Warrior is there for Annihilus and Doombot to copy his TA. He is usually away from the formation and the battle so he is not represented.

Typical play is like this:

My opponent will try to take out Anniihilus first. When he is successful, I am usually able to easily heal him with the medic.

My opponent will also attempt to go around to the backside and take out IG. This is a weakness but I have been lucky and I also try not to have my backside open.

Should my opponent take out Annihilus, which has been done, I am able to step up the Hydra, Doombot, or Skrull in as the new front man. My opponent is usually very weak at this point as well.

I usually will either shoot a single target (usually the opponent's main threat) enhancing damage to 5 and attack to 12 or target 2 or 3 in a bunch enhancing for 3 damage each. If only he had EE. :)

Keeping IG healthy seems to be the key to this teams success.

I improvise as needed.

Please list possible weaknesses and enhancements.

are you trying it to be strictly a Marvel team? if not, you could think about droppin the skrull warrior.. for rookie Robin, this way Annihilus & Doombot also have stealth..

Dont mix marvel and DC after you start to do that you become confused about your character's comic orgin...that makes it harder to decide on teams that are tournement legal.........

I HATE WHEN PEOPLE MIX MARVEL AND DC!!!

If you are playing all marvel....
I'd take out the Skull and the Hydra and put in a Black Panther (R)
You weakness is as all teams outwit. Black Panther will help you with that problem.
If you are playing DC and Marvel
See above post

Hope this Helps

V Boomerang and his Triple EE will kill you.
V Boomerang and his sheild friends will kill you faster.
Your team has one hitter.
I could play a team of E Thor, Super Skrull, and some medics and break that team down with ease.
Using IG like that has absolutley no strategy and I have seen it done better.
I do like playing V Annie though:)

Pax:

I'm pretty sure I could also kill V Boomarang just as easily. What makes my team a little better than most bunch teams is that it is highly mobile. That's why no one fields bunch formations with V Boomerang anymore at tournies. It's highly immobile and all you have to do is still some one in front of him and make him instantly ineffective. Do that against Annihilus and I can still smake you for 5 clicks.

Sure it's beatable. All teams are beatable.. But I think that this is the most unbeatable 300pt bunch team in Marvel.

And I must disagree with the comment that using IG in this manner is not strategy. It most certainly is. It's not a complex strategy, but it is a strategy nonetheless.

No, offense, but that is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Also, it is perfectly legal to use both Marvel & DC.

I'm sure you could kill V Boomerang easily, but 300 points against 44 poinsts of goodness, woo big man. With support I would rock you easily. I just mentioned one fig that would dominate you.

Using IG in bunch teams with a Running Shot fig is about as strategic as using Firelord with Avalanche and Pyro.

I must disagree again. For a strategy to be good, it has to work. The complexity of a strategy is irrelevant. The Firelord with 2 Barrier figs is an excellent strategy. It works! It's hard to beat, especially on indoor maps. Simple but effective. It is, however, I personally don't use this strategy often because it is not challenging to win this way. That's why it's called cheese.

The IG Bunch Formation, on the other hand, is only moderately successful. It's challenging to make it work. The main weaknesses have been immobility and EE from Ultron. Boomerang hasn't been a threat yet because I've been lucky enough to take him out before he could actually hit me. And Boomerang has to roll an 8 or 9 to hit without the help of Hydras or Perplexers. And I get to use the Skrull roll for Annihilus which has actually helped. I also outrange Boomerang. So I can shoot him before he can shoot me in most cases.

My biggest threat to date has been someone taxiing in a U Elektra next to IG in order to take out her Defend. So I try to stay on hindering terrain and I keep moving. The mobility and flexibility of this force makes it more formidable than your average IG Bunch. But I am quite confident that a well used E/V Ultron with support would rip through me.

Thanks for the critique. I look forward to more.

I would switch out Annihilus for E Klaw - he's only 74 points, his power is comprable, still a member of MoD and he'll give you extra for Black Panther, and maybe even Black Cat or R Scarlet Witch for PC!

My bunch team, just to let you know, since I also think you lack hitters: (I can't remember what REV they were so bear with me)

Superskrull (u)
Pyro
Bullseye
2x Doombots
Invisible Girl (r)
Aim Medic.

This way you can deal some heavy damage with the skrull and then kill them quickly with Pyro and Bullseye. Or if you don't want to be hit at all, just use Pyro to Barrier. Doombots get Brotherhood free action so they're just like having Bullseye and Pyro with a long running shot.

Formation was:
PSB
DID
M

That team kills things. Yours is too slow for my liking, and too open to receiving damage.
