In a recent article (http://heroclix.com/announcements/release-week-product-replacement-hco-and-more/) we outlined the return of Product Replacement to HeroClix beginning with figures from the Watchmen Collector Set. We are pleased to report that the product replacement program is operating per expectations and we are expanding it to include product from DC HeroClix: DC 75th Anniversary.

Plese note, at this time we can only offer replacement for Rares and Super Rares from DC: 75th Anniversary so please limit replacement requests to these rarity levels.

The replacement program will require you to create an account (if you haven’t already) and fill out an online request for replacement. The system will generally guide you through the process and only present you with options that are available.

Click to register for the Product Replacement program (http://heroclix.com/replacement/).

Is it still not 100% that if i send in my Sinestro with out a card, that i might not get a sinestro back?

Figures will be replaced with a figure from the same set with the same rarity. If no such figure is available, a replacement of the same rarity from the next set for that brand (Marvel, DC, etc.) will be used instead.

That is how I read it, too. Sounds like a random R/SR for R/SR.

Could be a good way to get rid of unwanted Rares!! ;)

not dis-agreeying. However, this is at the very least an effort. Effrts are extremely welcomed and I am greatfull just for the fact. Heading in the right direction for sure.

Not worth the risk. Just print a card off. I am also happy with the effort on product replacement; it isn't perfect but they are atleast trying. Thank you Wizkids/NECA

My Red Hulk weeps. :(

I only got the base of the dial, card, but no top dial or figure in my booster. Weirdest packing error I've ever seen. It must not have been snapped together and fell out somewhere before sealing the booster. :ermm:

Thanks for the effort, WK. It's a good step. I imagine they will try to replace with what was sent in. However, I could see a run on certain more fragile figures and not having enough to replace. Thus I can understand not promising an exact duplicate as supply levels get exhausted. Still, if WoS were available I'd hate to even send in what I have and end up with a duplicate of Vapor.

I am kinda worried that they arent going to add the White Lanterns. I have been trying to get a new WL hal for awhile now or even trade mine but no one is interested in one without a head...

This seemingly "slowly but surely" approach is more like getting "scraps from the table" . They need a real replacement program for heroclix and not "just DC75th rares and super rares" .

Isn't there a regular Hal in the same set, who's just a repaint? Why don't you just pull the head of that Hal, glue it to the WL version and paint the mask white? I will pay you $10 for each person who notices the difference (maybe...) :p

Send in Sinestro. Receive Wonder Woman...

Would be very very funny to experiement with the system. Start with Sinestro, receive something else, send that one back, receive something else, send that back...etc

Keep rolling the dice until you get Sinestro (and yeah spend twice his value just on postage costs lol) :)

Real life probability control!

With Print and play available, why would you send in the figure to get the card? Finally I get to replace my Doomsday with the inside sticker dial was damaged.

Cuz I don't have an extra........I ended up pulling a WL Hal at gencon so I have one with a head now, but the headless one is still taunting me.

So are you guys saying? If I send in my Double Based Wonderwoman, with no head. I will not get a Wonder Woman back? I will get something else?

Seems strange to me

Is it still not 100% that if i send in my Sinestro with out a card, that i might not get a sinestro back?

Correct. It is not 100%. The policy represents what is 100% - you will get back something of the same rarity from that set or the next set of that universe. That said, I can say that, to date, every figure that has come in has been replaced with the same one.

Does this work for cards with out figures?! I got robbed on a Ares

If you send a figure in with its card, you get a figure back with its card. If you send a figure in without its card, you only get a figure back.

The program is for correcting damages. This may not be the policy you want or what you were able to do previously, but it is what WK is able to do.

This seemingly "slowly but surely" approach is more like getting "scraps from the table" . They need a real replacement program for heroclix and not "just DC75th rares and super rares" .

Well, at this point, it is Watchmen, Web of Spider-Man and DC75. For Watchmen, it is the whole set, for the booster sets it is Rares and Super Rares.

So are you guys saying? If I send in my Double Based Wonderwoman, with no head. I will not get a Wonder Woman back? I will get something else?

Seems strange to me

Most likely, you'll get a Wonder Woman back. But the policy establishes expectations.

You sent in a SR and got back Vapor?

Oh wait...no...that was internet snark, right?

I sent in Groot from WOS, and literally got it back today. The one I sent in was missing the turn dial. Today I got back a complete Groot. So they can't say 100% just to cover their butts, they are only limiting it to certain figs that can be replaced at the moment, but its early and so far I can attest that they are trying to replace figure for same figure.

I can imagine figs like the GSX X-Men Storm being one of the recent SR that were often broke.

I believe you, but if I worked on figure replacement and got just the bottom dial in an envelope, I'd laugh.

While it's not ideal, I can see why the replacement is not guaranteed to be the same figure for the one that they are replacing. Obviously in order to do this, WK is doing a limitied production run on Rares and SRs. That means that sooner of later they will run out of their replacement copies of a particular figure, at which time they will have to substitute it for a different one. If they had to go back and do another production run, not only would it not be financially viable, but it would also take them months to do (I imagine).

If it's a SR at least you'll be getting a different SR which you will hopefully be able to trade for the one you actually want. But I imagine that most people will get exactly the figure they sent.

Mismatched bases/dials and missing sculpts effect the value of a figure. Missing cards shouldn't, and I wouldn't take the chance of sending in a valuable SR only because you didn't get a shiny character card in the booster.

A card with no figure? Different story!

That must be hurting by now :cheeky:

This DC75 news is just a prelude to the Street Fighter replacement programme. Cap was almost perfect, but SF has been kinda awful for quality if the pulls thread is anything to go by. I hope they have lots of spares ready.

(oh and I got a full refund on my chase Cammgief fig, which is pretty awesome since I paid a dumb $40 back when I thought they were more rare).

Why wouldn't they give the option of; if we can't replace it will send it back the same way. I mean I use my wonderwoman alot, I don't want to lose her. I would send her in if they had an option to say if we can't replace her we will send her back to you.

Now I think I might just stick with the no head wonderwoman for now.

I'll be sending my broken Doomsday soon.

I must say, I was pretty happy with the exceptional quality of the Watchmen figures I got back. They were what I expected from a $100 set in the first place. Thank you, Wizkids.
