What did you get in your first marvel heroclix starter?

Hi. I just got a starter deck today at the store, not nowing how to play but bought it anyways because it looks cool and fun to play, and in my starter i got captian america experienced, ultron veteran, wolverine experienced, wikfbane experienced, pyro rookie, kingpin rookie, boomerang rookie, and controller or something but he is a rookie. Well i was wondering what you guys got in yours.

I don't remember the other three figures I got in IC (I bought a booster first) but I do remember my excitement when I pulled the Veteran Hulk. Since then, pulling the expensive Beat stick of the sets has continued, V Doomsday for my first Hypertime and V She-Hulk for Clobberin' Time. Hopefully the trend will stay true for Xplosion ;)

Kingpin! That's who it was. Not a V Pyro, it was an R Kingpin. Boy was I off. The rest is all right, tho.

Well first off I have to say welcome to the great game of Heroclix. when you start playing remember to have fun first then be competitive other wise it drains the fun out of it. No let me think. If I think real hard I betch'a I can remember my first pair of shoes...uh I mean first starter.

Yeah, my starter was full of mostly fillers too. About 7 rookies and 3 experienced. I didn't get any veterans until about the 8th booster I opened. Weird :ermm:

i just remember u vision e wolfsbane and e klaw e puppet master and e shield agent dunno who the rest were prob electra and kinpin but they never stood out to me... i just made sure vision and klaw became quick friends

All I got was garbage. I bought a booster and starter together, and nothing was all that great. It took me forever to get a Vet, longer to get a Spidey or Wolvie (Premier Set) And longer after that till I got a Unique. I almost got out of it, I was so mad. Then I got the Black Spidey, and all was good in the Freak's Universe :classic:

I also started with a premiere set, but my very first booster had a U Wolverine in it. :) I don't even remember what the other 3 figs were because I was so stoked about pulling the Wolverine (and I didn't even know what a freakin' beatstick he was then).

I have never bought a Marvel Starter and only recently bought a DC one because someone was selling them at a convention for $10 and I wanted a ring and a map. Almost all of my purchases have been boosters. Don't remember the exact distribution of figures, but here's the important stuff:

1st booster: U Wolverine
Then a few days later, 2nd booster: U Captain America
Then a few days later, I bought 2 more boosters: U Elektra

I felt like going to VEGAS! The only problem is that I haven't pulled a Unique since then. I'm hoping to change that tomorrow. Not buying a lot, but I'll probably get about a half dozen boosters of X-Plosion and see what happens.

The cool thing about pulling all of those Uniques early is that I really didn't have money to buy a lot (still don't) so I ended up trading them for a heck of a lot of nons. I now have a big box full of Clix and can field very competitive teams without having to always use the same figures. And I really haven't spent much. If luck is on my side and I pull one or more uniques in X-Plosion, I'll probably do the same thing unless it is just someone awesome.

Tough to believe.....but I tend to be lucky with my pulls.......very lucky.....I once went to the store and grabbed 6 boosters. Got a thanos, 2 u captain americas, 2 v dr. stranges. Luck is with me.

I got a unique Vision and I can't remember the rest. The story behind that Vision is that I was getting beat every time. therefore I determined that Vision (not my playing) stunk, so I traded him.

Some time later I lamented the trade. Well, my son (Luckyj) started trading around and not only got me a Vision for my birthday, he got the exact Vision that I had traded. What a kid.

Oh, I stillget beat, but I don't blame the equipment anymore.

And some others. I went back to the same hobby store an hour later and bought some of their best singles, and since this was within a week of IC's release I was limited to E Sabretooth, R Blizzard, and E Constrictor. Later boosters offered more Uniques, like Juggs and Wasp.

I still find it odd that I ended up getting at least 2 Us before I got my first V.
