aliens vs. predator clix

I know that Dark Horse comics (who have some clix comining out) also have the comic book rights to aliens Vs. predator if they threw some of them into the indy clix mix i know id jump right in. imagine batman vs. aliens/predator or superman against a hive with blades/claws/fangs. theyd be tougher then you would think

and i dont know where to start with the predator.

Preds would be cool but would have to be 60 points or less. They couldn't beat a Wolverine I don't think. Aliens are like Brood and get better each time they leech a new spicies(a cheap life steal eith toughness). I think preds are way cooler.

I think angelofhate gives the aliens way to much credit but i did totally forget stealth as far as RCE or CCE no way they are mindless instinctual beasts not skilled warriors, and thanosied , i was thinking about that but they dont actually steal your powers they plant the egg and when it busts out of your chest it has the powers so i think it would make sense to have separate clix like an alien/predator hybrid (hatched out of a predator) or a alien/dog hybrid.

aliens should have poison after a click or two because of acid blood. predator didnt have pulse wave, possibly EE and RCE because of how powerful the laser was and BCF but def not CCE

Correction, on the last click Pulsewave can represent how the Predator blows himself and every single person around him into nuclear ash.

For Predator as a Unique:
First and second click should get Stealth, EE, SS and RCE
Third click gets Running shot, EE, SS, RCE
Fourth and fifth click gets Charge, BCF or CCE, toughness
Sixth and seventh click Leap/Climp, Incapacitate, ESD, Outwit
last click gets Pulsewave and outwit

That is my opinion.

first, KDOG13, good call on the alien poison thingbut i think it should be at the end when they die. also bullets took them out so no toughness.

VerdDogg23, lets break it down.
1st + 2nd click - stealth, RCE i agree but not superstrength (after all a tree took him down in the first movie and he bled way to easy) and not EE cause i never saw him use a grenade or anything like it ( i could be wrong)
Third click gets Running shot ( ive never seen him run and shoot every time i always see him aim. and the one time i saw him shoot without aiming, it was at a rabbit he missed), EE (same as above), SS (same as above), RCE
Fourth and fifth click gets Charge, BCF ( i dont know what that is)or CCE (maybe, hefought with schwartzenneger and only beat him cause of brute strength, but then again they are hunters and some would be better then others, but id say not), toughness (agree)
Sixth and seventh click Leap/Climp, Incapacitate, ESD, Outwit
( im shakey on the outwit but i see it)

on the last click how he blows everyone up by self detonating himself would be considered EE not PW. and i thought a click or two of toughness for the aliens because their dial should be short and they have taken bullets and kept going.

I twould be considered Pulse Wave because Pulse wave effects every body around you where ee is an attack that goes in one direction. Pulse wave does damage to people ina radius.

gambit what are you talking about. Energy Explosion represents his shoulder cannon, Blades/Claws/Fangs is for his WRIST BLADES, and I think he meant Super senses instead of Super Strength, but senses still wouldn't be right...

I agree that Aliens vs. Predator clicks would be cool, but I think it should be a whole new line with a radical new set of rules. The defining film, Aliens, was basically Vietnam in space, with an attempt to make it feel like real military action. The aliens were never an enemy that could be sought and destroyed...they were an enemy that was in constant ambush. As a result, all fire was of the "overwatch" type...watch this corridor, when an alien pokes its head out open up. So you'd need rules for that, and you'd need rules to simulate the fact that the marine player never really knows exactly where the aliens are (either hidden movement or blips or something).

It would be fun to have a predator Heroclix so batman can fight him, along with a terminator and aliens, but the actual franchise deserves its own game and rules IMHO.

stealth, perplex, and impervious to represent his cloaking and sneaking early on. Then he gets out his Shoulder Cannon and Spear Gun and is a master of ranged combat. Then he gains L/C and gets out his Net for incapacitate. Next click he gets energy explosion for his plasma pistol and bombs, then finally he gets out his Wrist Blades and gains Charge. This also represents his Disc. Finally, he gets regeneration and pulse rave with a high attack and goes out with a bang.

comic rights are different from toy and game rights...palisades has the rights to statues, hasbro may still have the rights to toys and games rights still are held by namco for electronic and someone has the roleplaying rights... i would doubt HIGHLY if wizkids gets the rights to do these figures...if they did they would be better off to do them outside of heroclix and more as a seperate game system...

he shouldnt get charge he's more sneak attack. and def not impervious, predator doesnt reduce damage that much. does INV WOMAN have Impervious???? maybe just a higher def value to compensate or SS to represent how youd miss if he was invisible. but he takes straight damage

...he gets charge at the end of his dial, when he has his wrist blades. Watch the movie Predator at the end when he takes his helmet off. Also in the move when he was cloaked they must have emptied hundreds of clips of bullets at him and he still didn't die. Just bled a little. You guys don't even know what you're talking about..

I love the predator but you r seriously overestimating him. Charge? ive never seen him charge only close combat if he was at a distance he would use the shoulder cannon. also when they emptied all those clips they where just firing in the vicinity of where they saw something move so if he jumped up a tree there lucky they hit him at all. Impervious?!?!? i think your smoking something funny? maybe toughness in the beginning but there are better thing that suit him more on the defensive dial. so sorry, youve got alot of good ideas but some are way off.

Don't take it personally, people are just debating the topic. On that note. I think impervious is wrong, the stealth is why he didn't take any damage. They were just firing blind. I think the single round that hit him hurt him. I think he may be tough for a few clicks, but he/they didn't show any incredible level of endurance as much as battle savvy, stealth and speed.

As scary as the bugs are in Aliens I think the Starship Troopers bugs would be insane. Will power all the way down. (cause you can unload clips at point blank and they don't die)BCF and a good move speed. they had the fliers to with BCF. I will write one up and post him...
