Dear Wizkids,

I just returned from my local collectables and gaming retailer with two DC booster packs, and was very happy with the figures I got from them.

I was particularly happy to pull a Unique The Key figure. However, he's missing an arm, his left arm to be exact. At first I thought the arm might have fallen off during shipping or something, so I looked inside the booster pack again and again, only to discover there was no loose arm. This lead me to the conclusion that this figure was packed in his current state.

Furthermore, the keys on his left hip just fell off as I was examining the figure. It appears that they hadn't been glued on at all, just slotted in.

I know there have been complaints of broken figures in the past, but I don't think mine is broken, I don't think the guys there in the factory never got around to actually finishing him.

What's worse is this, I live in Australia and to send out the figure to the US and wait for a replacement would take too long, way too long. Maybe if someone could lend me a hand, so to speak, and send over The Key's left arm? :p

I have taken a snapshot of the "incomplete" figure if you need proof of this.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Heroclix and enjoy playing and collecting the figures from this game, but, I'm just a little disappointed with the state of this particular figure.

Is there someone I can email to discuss this issue further?

Your sincerely,

'weezer_10' (a Heroclix fan)

Try calling Croftminster in Melbourne. They are the local distributors. They will probably tell you to deal with Wizkids but you never know.....

Hold that thought...

Wizkids, perhaps you should post me out The Key's left arm.

I got a Spiral with 5 arms. Wel actually with 5.5 arms, she is missing the middle forearm on her left side. I, like you, assumed that it was a shipping problem. I checked the box, no broken off arm, so it clearly wasn't a shipping issue unless it had disintegrated in shipping. So I checked the figure and specifically the arm itself. It was definately only half an arm, but the messed up thing was that the "stub" was painted over at the end. The figure was clearly broken before it went to get painted and then painted and shipped as if it were fine.

Honestly, someone from Wizkids must have something to say about this.

It'd probably help if you were on the actual OFFICIAL website. I.e. the company website. Just a thought...

For general info....

http://www.wizkidsgames.com/article.asp?cid=34155&frame=company#1 has the replacement policy. There is a link in the replacement policy text for non-U.S. people to follow, which sends you here:

I got a Wasp that was missing half of her shirt! It looks like one of her boobs just popped out :p .

There is even a bump that looks just like a nipple.

While some people are be neglectfull some of the "artists" making these things are just wierd.
