Can you perplex the damage of a multi-arrow shot. Like if Vet Cyclops hammers 3 opposing figures with his multi-arrow shot, could Rook Joker and Rook Harely Quinn increase his damage?

When you declare multiple targets, all damaged is reduced to 1, just like EE. And speaking of EE, you can enhance, or shield ability multiple target damage just like EE. Both of those abilities take effect after the fact of the attack, sorry about the ####py ryhme. so you can target 2 figs(assuming you have 2 lightning bolts) and before shooting(rolling any dice)you use a shield action(if your a newbie, this is so you can enhance our damage, and declare your enhancement(if your playing with doc strange to up the damage 1 more. Now your hitting for at least 3 damage per attack. next step is to incorperate EE in the army.

I think becuase the Perplex power only increases the printed value on the stand you can't increase a multiple target attack. The damage has to be reduced to one.

It's all because of the timing of Perplex.

Perplex is declared before or after an action.

So, you'd Perplex V-Cyclops dmage by 1 ( so now it's 3.
Then you'd declare a Multitarget attack which would then reduce his damage to 1.

Perplex after an attack is not recommended.

Then why does SHIELD and Enhancement work?

Well, those are declared at the same time the action is declared.

You'd declare multi-attack which would reduce damage to 1. Then you'd declare that Enhancement or SHIELD will be used...which will increase to 2.

This make sense?

I suppose the same goes for EE and Pulse Wave? You CAN'T Perplex up the damage, right?

Yep

Perplex is declared before or after an action.

So, you'd Perplex a figure's dmage by 1 ( so now it's 3.
Then you'd declare a Energy Explosion/Pulse Wave which would then reduce his damage to 1.

Perplex after an attack is not recommended.

Then why does SHIELD and Enhancement work?

Well, those are declared at the same time the action is declared.

You'd declare Energy Explosion/Pulse Wave which would reduce damage to 1. Then you'd declare that Enhancement or SHIELD will be used...which will increase to 2.
