need help building darkseid team

i have a tourny in a day, my first for dc, n i haven't got a clue what or who 2 field with darkseid. What r the typical teams for him 2 fit into.
Also who's the best ranged dude n flyer in dc? sorry, as uz can see, i'm very new with this.

The best 'ranged flyer' in DC would have to be Exp. Steel. He comes in at a very cheap 70 points with Ranged Combat Expert for three clicks on the dial (just check out his his stats in the 'Units' section) and he has the JLA team ability (free move) enabling to also act as a taxi.

If you really want to do some damage with Darkseid, taxi him in with Steel (Exp.) and then reak some havok.

The Rookie version of Steel is also quite good if you haven't got the Experienced version. But I'd go with the Exp. version, it only costs you 4 points more.

Just keep Darkseid in range with his targets for Outwit, and keep a bruiser nearby that same target for some lusty damage.

Personally, I wouldn't even consider DarkSeid in anything less than a 400-point team.

For starters-he definitely needs a taxi, probably a cheap one like rookie Hawkman. And a Vet Checkmate medic.

Also, you may want to have a 2nd taxi like Man-Bat and a "bruiser" like rookie Solomon Grundy.

That's going to add up as 151+32+19+27+48=277.

The rest is personal choice.
