Awesome. No move and attack, but long dials with the ability to break damage reducers the whole dial, close or at range. Can't wait to use that ORBITAL INSERTION power.

My single-biggest issue is that you need quite a few of these guys to really be much use. Because one or two will quickly fall victim to Outwitting him down to 1 damage OR just be beaten to a pulp by a brick. Although I suppose it's thematically appropriate that a team of nothing but them could quite possibly lose to a team of primarily the newly-previewed Flood Infections with some Armor Piercing.

Look at the name, need I say more? But joking aside I love 70 pts pieces like this, they can a very good team when fighting heavy hitters. Oh I like how their white power is the same name as the as the feat card form Hellboy.

Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST are the only two I haven't played, so I'm not an expert on the ODST, but I'm very surprised at how powerful they are. An ODST BDU gives Inv? Is it really that strong? I'm also surprised by the 7 clicks of health. The stats are quite good, though. Probably pretty useful on a soldier team (pretty much always doing at least 1 damage in any kind of combat with nice, high atk value is nice.)

ODSTs honestly deserve better stats. (Like, should probably be a 3 damage for significantly more of his dial.) They were basically Spartans before there were Spartans. The armor is about as strong, just without any energy shielding or speed enhancements. They go through training significantly more intense than modern military training, and the novels definitely make an obvious effort to convey that the only reason they don't look as badass as they are is because they're being shown alongside Spartans. Before he knew his own strength post-augmentation in the novels, Master Chief was actually AFRAID of these guys and their reputation as being incredibly tough. As the war went on, they eventually even got minor energy shielding on their armor as well. They're stats are well deserved and could be higher if they wanted to.

Well in clix sense so to speak it's all most right. Look at SHIELD's clix's those guys are like spacial forces and ODST here will tare them a new one. I get what your saying but it has him with a pistol. So I'm hope with the rest of HALO clix, that they will have them again with an other weapon. To make some sense of it. Maybe they have Rookie and the rest form halo odst.

And after master chief got is augmented strength he broke the arm of an ODST just by grabbing his wrist. And the fact that BDU gives invul and Mjolnir Armor on Spartan #19 gives toughness seems kind of stupid to me, but otherwise i think the stats are spot on. love the phasing ability. lots of potential.

I actually like the fact that he only has a 1 damage with that special power. It represents what ODSTs actually do. They blast you from range and if you run up to them, they knife you in the face! An opponent sees that they do more damage from range and so he bases them, only to receive penetrating damage. Kind of reminds me the scene in ODST where buck is fighting a brute with his knife and takes him down hardcore.

I was kind of disappointed when I had to "settle" for two of these guys on my recent UNSC team to make the points work out right. Boy was I wrong. Orbital Insertion was great for initial positioning on the tight indoor map I had chosen, and 18+invulnerability is nothing to sneeze at. They don't look too impressive when they're off their first click, but that last click is a nice surprise. Just wish I had gotten to make an attack while on that click, heh. Anyway, it's the frag grenades that really make figures like this shine against regular Clix. Build up your grenade pool with some other figures and have fun launching ranged attacks without regard to characters for line of fire and without the hindering modifier! (Note to self: ODST + Checkmate Knights + upcoming Punisher + Zod = hilarious "Kneel Before Zod!" theme?)

These guys are essential if your building a UNSC team going up against meaningful damage reducers. Other marines can't get through without help but this guy does on every click. Plus his orbital insertion always gives you the benefit of positioning. I prefer to deploy them after my marine generics have tied up the board.
