No not true. You have roll just like you do for any other ranged combat action.
I'm assuming you are speaking of Objects and their use in conjunction with a TK attack:
Use all other rules for ranged combat actions, except that the damage value of the attack is based on the type of object. A light object inflicts 2 clicks of damage and a heavy object inflicts 3 clicks of damage.
This is a standard attack roll just like every other attack.
Does this answer?
k, does Jean's 1 clix of damage added to the weapon thrown or not?
Objects used in TK attacks have damages of their own.
A light object will always do 2 damage when thrown.
A heavy object will always do 3 damage when thrown.
The only time damage can be 'added' to these attacks is when the SHIELD or Enhancement is used in conjunction with the TK attack.

A thrown object would only do it's own damage (2 for light, 3 for heavy).
You can increase this damage with other game effects (i.e. a critical hit) but you ignore the TKer's base damage.
ahh, thanks,
i guess the same goes for someone with super strengh throwing an object, you must roll for an ranged attack, n if successful, only what the damage for that weapon is used(including critical hit) but not add on the base damage.
Yes, base damage is not added when using objects in a TK or Super Strength ranged attack.

does enhancement work with a TK or SS ranged attack?
Enhancement will work with any Ranged Combat Action except RCE. This includes the Ranged Combat attacks of a TK or Super Strength object attack.
What is enhancement?
what do u mean by it?
The Damage super power Enhancement.... in the PAC....
