Looks like a fun team. Abomination looks like he is going to be absolutely eeevil on the battlefield.

Greetings,

Just some thoughts; You seem to have more support then is needed for this team. Firstly I'm not a fan of the Con Artists, but I'll take it for granted that you have a cunning plot to use her to boost something important.

I think the only real 'weakness' of the team is the big ol' targets being planted on the Russians (Abomination and Crimson D) For a 300 point match you have Destiny and the Paramedic (no threat) Vulture and Con Artist (such a minor threat they're almost no threat) the Doombot (reasonable threat) and two big targets for outwit and 3+ damage. I'm not saying it won't work, I'm not saying I haven't done similar teams, I'm just pointing out the weaknesses.

For instance, who's going to hold back your opponent when you need to use the medic? Will Crimson D be flown away to leave Abomination holding the line? I predict dead Abomination, and vice versa. Also the Doombot with leadership is nice...but I question where you're going to use that leadership action with 2 free movers and 1 total non combatant (the medic) who'll probably just sit tight.

I guess my final opinion is that you have a lot of stuff to protect (Destiny, Con Artist, ect) and not a lot to do it with. Just my view on the team.

Regards,
Thor.

Thanks for your view of the team.

Though it was a little confusing, first you said the weakness of the team is that Abomination and Dynamo have a big target on them, then you said I should really worry about my support figures because they will be major targets. So basicly my whole team will be targeted, surprising. I never thought that my characters would be a target of attack when building my team, I just assume my opponent's figures would move around in circles.;)

Greetings,

Sorry, didn't mean any confusion. I was mor epointing out the dangers at different stages of the battle. To clarify;

At the begining you have two figures as targets.

After they are wounded and need healing (else why have a paramedic) you only have these two, so one will go heal while the other tries to hold everything else back. This could easily lead to the one left behind dying horribly and then leaving all your support open to attack.

Hope that clears up my muddled ramblings.

Regards,
Thor.

Are you saying my lack of tie up characters will be a problem?

If so, perhaps you are right. Thanks for the advice.

Swapping out some scrubs for a rookie Quicksilver can buy you a lot of "tie up" character. You aren't dealing with B/C/F, Super Senses or Regeneration for the most part so I'd swap out Destiny for Quicksilver. That saves you two points that could go elsewhere (not sure where mind you, just noting it).

Perhaps that's a good idea. Destiny hasn't been helping me much, I might switch her out for Quicksilver and up grade my Paramedic. However, I really wanted to build my team around 2 characters that are really tough to KO. Maybe the following team would be better:

V Blastaar 138pt.
V Abomination 100pt.
R Wasp 26pt.
R Vulture 15pt.
R Con Artist 11pt.
E Paramedic 10pt.

Total: 300pt.

Should be V Paramedic, not E. My mistake.
