My friend thinks one way and thinks that he was taken advantage of, but doesn't like what I told him. So I figured we'll put the question up here and see what someone else says.

Here's the game he was playing.

There was a character located in an object with RCE.

Another character has outwit and took away the RCE.

With the character in hindering, is there a clear LOF for the outwit?

The argument is that the object the character is in blocks the clear line of fire needed for outwit.

Clear line of fire is anything that is not BLocking. SO yes you can outwit as long as the target doesnt have Stealth.

Hindering terrain doesn't block LoF unless the character you're trying to see has stealth (or Batman ally)

Yeah I told him that. He had a rough time at the tournament, probably could have placed first or second but he was cheated by a few people. I told him it works like perplex and the other powers.

The funny thing is. The only loss he suffered was a match he should have won where the kid was using rookie Dove as a flyer. I played the kid in the second round and caught him right off the bat. My friend had no knowledge of the character, sucks for him.
