Each year up here in Sonoma County there is a little gaming convention. I've been teasing my local venue owner that we should try to do a clix tournament there this next go round.
Well now that we're about 20 players strong and getting bigger and know that we could double that at a place like that, I'm now starting to figure out how I would run something like that.
Obviously prize support is a neccessity and I'll work with the owner on that.
But my main concern is how to run an event that size in possibly one day. So I ask you, the viewing audience who have far more convention playing experience than I:
What type of matches work best?
Best way to reduce playing field to 8 or 16?
Anything and everything else that I am surely overlooking?
