From another site I got a list of all the character cards in the game:
Federation:
Picard
Riker
Dr. Crusher
Geordi
Data
Miles O'Brien
Tasha Yar
Worf
Reginald Barclay
Wesley Crusher
Kirk
Spock
McCoy
Scotty
Sulu
Odo
Quark
Janeway
The Doctor
Tom Paris
Neelix
Kes
Admiral J.P. Hanson
Admiral Owen Paris
Admiral Cartright
I'm assuming that O'brien and Worf are TNG era not DS9, although please correct me if I'm wrong. Really dissappointed by the lack of DS9 characters. I sure hope they will be filling out the characters in the later expansions.
Klingons:
Duras
Lursa
B'Etor
Martok
Alexander Rozhenko
Worf
K'Mtor
Kurn
Gowron
K'Mpec
K'Ehleyr
K'Temoc
General Chang
Kor
Koloth
Konmel
Synon
Vagh
Korrd
Kang
Klag
Nu'Daq

If I'm not mistaken, they're actually both. I believe that O'Brien got promoted and moved over from Transporter Chief on TNG's Enterprise and became head engineer or something like that on DS9, and then Worf joined the series after TNG ended and Enterprise D was destroyed in the Generations movie, becoming a main character for the later seasons of the second show. I think that also helps explain why he's part of the crew of the Defiant rather than Chief of Security on Enterprise-E at the start of First Contact.

Oh I know that. What I mean is, I think the picture of them on their cards has them in their TNG uniforms, not their DS9 uniforms. They are fairly different. Therefore I was counting them under TNG not DS9.

Didn't both series run concurrently? For a while there, it was common to see characters from one or the other bleeding over onto the other show...

Sort of. The last two seasons of TNG ran concurrent with the first two seasons of DS9. Then when TNG finished Voyager started immediately, so it ran two seasons behind DS9 at the same time.
O'brien left TNG when DS9 started, getting an upgrade from a regular guest cast member in TNG to being part of the main cast in DS9. When TNG ended, Worf immediately made the move to DS9.
Other guest appearances tended to be made be supporting characters only. Although there is a tradition that the first episode of every new series featured a guest appearance from one of the actors from another series. TNG has McCoy, DS9 had Picard, Voyager had Quark and Enterprise had Zefram Cochrane.

I can confirm that information because I watched EVERY episode of every Star Trek... Not counting the original series. from that I watched a few episodes but not so much (Like the tribles, episode and the only double episode with the Captain Pike/first pilot of the series).
My Favorite of course Is the Next Generation (I begin watching Star Trek with that, I was never atracted to the classic one). DS9 is BORING until in the third season when it become interesting. Voyager have many great episodes and is a very interesting series (even if have a woman as Captain.)
Enterprise was a PAIN I hated have to watched every episode but I did. :p
I only enjoyed the episodes with special Guests like Brent Spiner (Data), "Odo" and nothing more.

I too have watched every episode of every season except for Original Series. My wife and I are working our way through Original Series at the moment, mostly so I can say I have watched all.
As for DS9 (my favourite), yes the two seasons are boring, but the MAJORITY of it (seasons 3-7) are awesome. In fact, I would argue that every series is boring in the first season and okay in the second and only really gets good from the third season on.
Enterprise was great in Season 3 and 4 (Season 3 was the big Xindi story, and Season 4 was when they did all those fun episodes that referenced the other series, like having Brent Spiner).

I can see your point but I have the Next Generation very high, like the first season had not very great episodes but every episode is better than many sci fi movies.
About endings Next Generation is beyond awesome. Voyager is great, I did not like it the DS9 ending, I think could had been so much better and Enterprise kinda good (not counting that dumb unnecesary dead)

Next Gen has a special place in my heart as it was the first I watched and it sucked me into sci fi in general. But the scope of the story in DS9 puts it above Next Gen for me.
I did not like Captain Janeway at all, so that puts Voyager lower to me, but some of the other crew were really cool and the story was interesting.
On the endings, I agree with your conclusions. The TNG ending was fantastic. DS9 was a bit too anti-climatic, but I have been reading the novels that followed on after and they are good. I hated the Enterprise ending. What an unecessary death that was!

I so want a new series set on the "current" timeline. Just give me yhe purple blavk uniforms or the Uniforms from Sat Trek online and I dont care what crue or ship it is :p I just to know what is happening "now" after Nemesis and Im too lassy to read the novels. ( i could read a comic book version of the novels, I hear there is an awesome story with all the crews fighting the Borg one last time and many dies or something like that. Unity is the novels? Not sure)

Yeah I just not long ago read that Borg story. It was long but worth it. You get to find out where the Borg came from and everything. It not only involves Captains Picard, Riker and Dax (Ezri is a Captain now) but also Captain Hernandez who was Archer's love interest in Enterprise. Impressive stuff.

didn't the end of voyager basically break the universe when voyager came back loaded to the brim with uber powerful future tech for the federation to reverse engineer?
also I'm mad as hell that there's no dax or sisko card in this game. what the hell, WK?

Yeah I was a bit peeved when I realised that too. But I see their strategy there- they're making me want Expansions.

They are called the "Star Trek: Destiny" series and there are three of them-
Book I - Gods of Night
Book II - Mere Mortals
Book III - Lost Souls
There's another book that goes just before this series called: "Star Trek: Resistance" that follows Picard after Nemesis and also deals with the Borg. I don't have that one, but regretted not getting it as it refers to it a few times, so I plan to get that one as well.
A really good website to get virtually any book you want at cheap prices is http://www.bookdepository.com/
They are based in the UK but have FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE! Amazing. I buy all my Trek books there now as the local bookstores never carry them and often take longer to order them in.
