Lansing, MI Win-a-Brick Tournament Sept 11

Hi, this is FatBuddha from Evolution Games in Lansing, Michigan. We have been building up our HeroClix community in the past few weeks and have many new players. We usually play around 2pm every Sunday, with official prize support from NECA/WizKids.

We are having a big HeroClix tournament at noon on Sunday, September 11th. Armies limited to 500 pt. Constructed, Modern Age rules. Elimination Scenario (With total points eliminated used for tie breakers)

-Winner receives a Brick of the new Captain America set.
-An additional Brick of Captain America will be used for a Prize Draft for all other tournament players.

Darn, that is a great tourny! Wish it wasn't my drill weekend. How many people do you normally get lately? We have a small but steady (usually from 6 to 10) weekly contingent up here in Bay City, would love to have a few of us get down there sometime.

Clix has been picking up lately since I've learned to play and started pushing it more, but we've had new buyers and new players so far every week. We had a fun 2v2 casual team play today with 2 new players. Right now we get numbers comparable to yours (anywhere from 6-12) every week. People seem really pumped for the upcoming tournament, which hopefully means we'll have a larger community at the shop.

Hey. I'm gonna be in Lansing for a month on business, and I'll be in town this weekend. I may drop by for the tourney if I'm able to squeeze some clix into my baggage.

I'm glad your friend had fun, I was really nervous leading up to it. It was the first tournament I ever ran in addition to only playing Clix for 3 weeks. It was a great turnout with 26 players. Winners and winning teams can be found here: http://evolutionexperience.com/index.php?nShow=23

I'll be sure to post the next big tournament. We'll be hosting one in a few weeks to celebrate the Superman set.

In addition, we play weekly tournaments on Sunday and will be starting casual play (and possibly more tournaments) on Thursdays. HeroClix is blowing up at Evolution Games (http://evolutionexperience.com/) with people hyped for Superman and Lord of the Rings. I can't wait.
