My boss is a comic book geek just like me and another of my co workers.. he found out about our plans and gave the three of us the day off so we can all go hang out at sci-fi city together...

I love working for starbucks, a bunch of laid back people who get paid to make friends.

I'm a shift supervisor and they encourage how friendly I am.. they love it because I can relate to so many different people and talk about the wierdest ####.

It's cool that Apocalypse is so much bigger than most other clix. Even if i do not agree with the dial i think this is it what makes him great (great sculpt, huge figure). I have just to check if he is bigger than Hulk (at least he weighs less). Anyone surprised that they improved the boosters and the plastic packaging (They boosters look better, you can close them and the plastic packaging inside is better protection for fragile miniatures).

ohhh yes, the game *is* afoot today. at lunch, i'm going to do some Holmes-esque sleuthing around my three (!!) local shops that normally stock clix.

then, of course, comes the hard part - waiting until after work to crack them all open. not terribly busnesslike to be examining colossus at my desk. well, maybe i'll just open *one*.

I plan on going to my local shop around lunch time and buying a few boosters. Of course, it takes 30 minutes to get there from here (how LOCAL is that?) so it will be a really extended lunch, but hey, worth every minute. Being salary has its advantages sometimes! (disadvantages when you have to work 60 hours in a week though)

Wait until after work to open them? HAHAHA! Not business like? Well lets see, my office, 3 pieces of framed Spiderman artwork, Mechwarrior Clix on the top of my credensa, along with a Spiderman lunchbox and a rubix cube. There is no way I'm going to wait, going to fill up my trashcan with shredded cardboard!

i've got nothing to stress over. why? because NONE of my local shops had ANY xplosion in stock. i got the tried & true 'check back tomorrow/friday'. AAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!

My store isn't getting Xplosion till 3PM Pacific time. .... So all I can do is sit here at work and be envious of your pulls. I have a case on order but i want to hit the store for about 4 boosters just to feel that rush of being at the store and buying up boosters like the rest of you "commoners" J/K :)

Well this is my first post on the forums here. However i have been a lurker for a couple of months now.

I just wanted to say I also have a case...just waitin for me to get off work at 4:30 and rive like a deemon to the store. It is going to be Crazy Taxi style.

What does everyone think some of the more rare figures will be?

V Mandarin, V Taskmaster will likely be the most sought after nons (along with _any_ X-Men, ugh). Uniques.... I dunno, many of them are good but none have the combination of great stats and cool character like Nightcrawler (Spidey, maybe).
