This skill piece offers power, versatility and tough decisions for his controller. His abilities are a story in themselves.
Silver Surfer starts out with Running Shot, 2 targeted incapacitate, invulnerability and a solid 4 damage. This is to represent how much of a pacifist Surfer is. He can use incapacitate to give lesser threats a warning but does enough damage to attack a true enemy head on.
A small injury puts him on his "firelord" click. Doing a massive 5 points of damage with ranged attacks! As soon as someone finds a way to damage surfer, he knows that he's in for a real fight, so he pulls out the guns so to speak. He still has incapacitate for a less lethal alternative.
After he is injured, he gains the amazingly powerful Hypersonic speed while keeping incapacitate and gains support. Use Hypersonic Speed and Support for a surprise combo! Norrin knows that if he's injured, his teammates must be even worse, so he will use his power to heal if needed, he also goes full power and uses his speed to his advantage.
Then Surfer enters his next phase. He gains toughness, psychic blast and Outwit. This is probably the only time you will ever have a chance to heal him. Whatever hit surfer, caught him off guard, for now he is only tough. He drops his peaceful incapacitate powers in favor of a much more damaging blast. He also uses the power cosmic to partially negate any advantage his opponent has (outwit)
He then starts to rely on his cosmic awareness like never before. He knows he's injured so he goes on defensive mode, gaining a huge boost in defense and supersenses. at this point in the battle, surfer has regained from the devastation that has been delivered to his body. He has sustained enough damage to soften him up, but he still has his cosmic awareness to help him avoid being hit
On his very last click, his body is in total regenerative mode, unable to cause harm but able to both heal a teammate or regenerate himself. nuff said!
