I went to a tourney last night and (as usual) I had issues with some "rulings". I just want to make sure that my thinking is correct.

......
...C..
..B***
...***

Here we see (B)lack Panther at the corner of a building (elevated, blocking) on a direct diagonal with (C)on Artist. It was ruled that they did not have LoS to each other nor are were they adjacent. Was that ruling correct?

W..*
..B*
.#C*
.##*

In this example (B)lack Panther has discovered (C)on Artist hiding in (#)hindering terrain. The Con Artist makes her break away roll but does not want to run in the direction of (W)asp so she runs from hindering terrain into hindering terrain (moving down one space). Does her movement end with that one move or is she allowed to move half of her normal movement?

Last. I am sure this has been covered many times but I want to make sure that I did not miss something. Support + Perplex. My opponent said "I will perplex up my medic's attack and heal Doc Oc." I then said "You cannot read the PAC." He read and responded with "Fine I will perplex down Oc's defense then." He won the ruling. I was 99% sure that support will not work with perplex like that.

If both Con Artist and Black Panther were on the same elevation (Grounded) then they most definetly had Line of Fire and were adjacent.

She's allowed to move half her normal movement... they only time she will be stopped is if she enters Hindering terrain from a Clear terrain square. So, she can go through as many Hindering terrain squares as she wants... just as long as she doesn't exit Hindering and try to go back into Hindering.

Does that makes sense?

This will ignore all modifiers to the roll. Perplex will not work with Support. Batman Enemy and Sinister Syndicate team abilities will not work with Support.

You cannot Perplex the Support figure.
You cannot Perplex the figure being healed.

Basically it's just base numbers for both the Support and figure to be healed.

I mean NOTHING can modify this roll (except Probability Control).

tsannik, so you re saying i cant drop the defense of my healing target or up the attack of my medic to do an heal? i ve never read anything like that in the PAC itself, so this shocks me :)

That's the way it works, yep. Because it's such a small clause of the PAC entry for Support, a lot of people overlook it or don't really pay it any heed. But it means that you ignore modifiers when using Support, meaning that altered attack or defense values won't help things.

yea, i now see the "ignore all modifiers for THIS close combat attack." so in essence, you COULD perplex a medic, it just wouldn't take effect, therein wasting it, therefore directing it elsewhere :)
