We at H&F just want to thank everyone who came out Sat Oct 1st for our Supes release tourney.This was our best tourney by far a big thanks to HcRealms ID Crow for coming out from under his rock and defending his title as the most dominating player in the format(MDP) this was his third consecutive first place win in sealed 300pts.I would also like to thank Mike Conley the manager of H&F for his support of our community without people like him events like these in our area would not be possible.I also want to thank all the people who came from out of town for choosing our venue I hope we made it worth the drive.This event proves that if you think your the best Heroes & Fantasies is the place to come prove it in south Texas.Also if you find yourself coming into town on a Friday night before 7pm be sure to check out Dragons Lair in the Medical Center area they always have a fun and wacky tourney going down and it's free!!

Fun Facts:
14 bricks were opened in house and only 2 had crypto packs a blue and a green

1st place Crow 2packs a map and a LE pick
2nd place GuideOn187 1pack a map and a LE pick
3rd PePeLaPew 1pack and a LE pick
And everyone else was cashed out appropriately with LE's and packs

My good friend HCrealms ID EddiePrez lost his first round to a nooby xD!

And HCrealms ID GuideOn187 had to take out two of his relatives to make it to the finals(man that's cold blooded)

Thanks to GuideOn187 for inviting me to the tourney! It's actually only two consecutive wins for me - but I look forward to defending my "title" again when Hulk comes out. :)

My team this time out:
Queen of Fables
Brainiac 5
Gangbuster

When you think about it, this team is about as competitive as it can get in the 300 format here. It features Outwit, 1.5 Perplexes and 1.5 Probability Controls (Brainiac's choice), 2 Mystics with damage reduction and no problems whatsoever creating lines of fire thanks to Queen's giant size.

My opponents fielded:
200-point Black Adam & Libra
Imperiex
Doomsday & Lex Luthor
300-point Superman

QoF and Brainiac never got more than a scratch because I either used Gangbuster as a fall guy or else kept Perplexing down the opposing tentpole's damage value to the point where hitting me was a self-damaging waste of time. It was a cruel, cruel team - but it proved my suspicion that QoF is one of the top pieces in the set.

Thanks again to the crew at Heroes & Fantasies for hosting this! I wish I could come by more often, but now I must crawl back under my "rock". :)
