Crosshairs, what happend?

There was an app called crosshairs on android that had a plain empty grid.

you enter location 1 and 2, and it drew a line of fire to it.

i thought it would be great if was developed further letting you import a map layout

place figure markers on it

press figure 1, press figure 2, and it would highlight the squares line of fire is drawn through. green squares for clear line of fire, and green squares up to a point where they turn red where line of fire would be blocked.

sadly the app is no longer on the market and no word from the dev that i can see.

Damn. This sounds like a good app. I wonder if there is an alternative.

For those with mad skills, it should allow you to take a picture of the map, and select the figures in question. My skills are not good enough for that one.
