Halloween Mafias have always been the ones I enjoy the most. Since I am not nowhere near being able to run one this year, I cheerfully climb into the Treehouse of Horror.

Dibs on the evil Krusty doll that was trying to kill Homer until his switch got flicked to "good" (see below)!

Shopkeeper: "This shop sells items that are forbidden. We also sell frozen yogurt, which I like to call frogurt!"
Homer: "Do you have anything for a 10 year old boy?"
Shopkeeper: "Take this doll, but beware, for it carries a terrible curse."
Homer: "Oh, that's bad!"
Shopkeeper: "But it comes with a free frogurt!"
Homer: "That's good!"
Shopkeeper: "The frogurt is also cursed."
Homer: "That's bad."
Shopkeeper: "But it comes with your choice of toppings!"

I'd like to share one of my favorite Treehouse of Horror moments with you guys. It was also one of the favorite moments of a good friend of mine that was killed after being struck by a car the day after Halloween when we were in 9th grade. I find that its a fitting tribute to him, as this November 1st will be the 9th anniversary of his death.


Montgomery Burns: Yes, by cutting off cable TV, and the beer supply, I'll be able to ensure an honest winter's work out of those low-lifes...

Smithers: Sir, did you ever stop to think that maybe it was doing this that caused the previous caretakers to go insane and murder their families

Montgomery Burns: Mmm, perhaps. Tell you what, we come back and everyone's slaughtered, I owe you a Coke.
