So, while I won't say that I was a nerd in my younger years, I was a loner, and thus, loser. It's kind of nice now, some 12 years later to run into all those jerks and beotches from high school:

"OMG! Michael, wow, it's been like ages...how have you been?"

"Um..."

"It's *insert name of popular person here* from Jacobs!"

"Oh yea. You hated me in High School, what's changed?"

Silence. Or, from the slightly bright, a half dirty look.

"By the way, I'm happily engaged and making good money. Still collect comics and listen to music you think is carp. You're on your, what, third marriage with 3 illegit kids? You're broke? You lost a lung? Blew out your knee freshman year? Making $7 an hour? Lost your teenage good looks? Put on a few (hundred) pounds? And remind me why I should care, Mr./Mrs. Most Likely to Succeede?"

Fortunatley, the conversation generally ends there.

Not that I'm a spiteful person :devious: - I hate fake people.
And most everyone in high school was fake.
Those who wern't, I'm still friends with.

88 was the first year I could vote. what a bummer. what a poopy record lost one, won two, & tied the last one. If they did make fun of me they sure didn't do it to my face. Iron Maiden shirts can be very scary to some people.
