Allright, I mostly have the characters nailed down, so it's time to open sign-ups. I hope to start this game mid-November some time. As the title indicates, this game will be DC characters re-imagined in a Game of Thrones like setting. The tone will be Game of Thrones inspired, but don't expect there to be any Starks or Lannisters running about. No knowledge of Game of Thrones will particularity be necessary.
It's looking like I'll be wanting 22 players. Who is in?

Ugh. Okay. Can't pass this up. It's rare there's a theme on here that I can really get into. And no, I'm not talking DC Comics. :p Straight up Game of Thrones would have been golden, but I'll take this. Hopefully things don't overlap too much and I can keep to my one game at a time rule.

Hmm...does have a nice ring and Tywin and Magneto -are- a nice mix.
But that leaves Polaris as Tyrion and no way that's allowable.

My characters are not crosses between GoT and Comic characters. They are comic characters re-imagined into a GoT-like setting. Meaning Toad is a perfectly suitable Tyrion stand in.

Toad wishes...eh, I've already used that line tonite.
Still, even "re-imagined", I've trouble seeing Toad re-imagined into the Little Lion. :) Now, Loki...
(In other words, I do understand you're doing "Kitty's Fairy Tale" via "Game of Thrones" but still I was expecting some trait match-ups...meaning Toad as a master manipulator and all-around King of Awesomeness just because he's ugly and short... *shrugs* )
But, hey, if you were doing Marvel I guess that would make Crimson Dynamo and Co. the replacements for the Starks. You know, because they're the Winter Guard. :cheeky:

Sign me up. GoT's is perfect for a Mafia game. I mean, just perfect.
You wouldn't even know who the darn Mafia are even if they did claim. Are the Lannisters the Mafia? Or are the Starks the Mafia? I mean, the Starks do slaughter thousands of people, way more people than the Lannisters ever do. Of course they do it in the name of WAR rather than backstabbery, but that doesn't change the fact that they're murderers.
Or you could easily have the cold ones as the Mafia. They would be pretty cool too.
Finally, what about Danayeries? She and her band could totally be the Mafia. Look at what she's about to do to the 7 kingdoms?
Anyhow. Sign me up ;)

It's GoT inspired, but no, GoT characters will not be appearing. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
It's like when you mash-up two songs. You take the beat and the hook from one, and the lyrics from the other.

Problem is, even if we get enough people by late November, Arkham City will have just come out for PC. I didn't think this through.
