I think it's time for an official Wizkids-sanctioned Heroclix design contest.
Maybe it could go like this:
Entries include a description of the character's history and origin, modus operandi, powers, allies, enemies etc, and most importantly, which comic universe they are designed to fit in. Because WK would probably get thousands of entries, they'd have to be limited to about 300-500 words. Perhaps each entrant could only enter 2 or 3 characters.
Entry would also include detailed sketches or written description of how the sculpt should look. The figure's dial would be part of the entry as well, perhaps including design notes like the ones we've seen for Xplosion figs.
Of course, the winner(s) would be made into real HC figs! How cool would that be?! Even if they were only LE and not allowed in tourneys or whatnot.
What better way to get the target fanbase involved?
