I just received an e-mail that my subscription is about to end. It states that if I do not renew, access will be removed.

I thought you could be on the 'realms whether you had a subscription or not?

Is this a new policy?

It might be speaking of the access to the perks given due to the subscription.
You certainly can access HCR without a donation. :)
