RCE & CCE Team abilities.

A friend told me that I couldn't use the AV of my Experienced Ultron (MoD) with Experienced Boomerang (SS).

I thought RCE & CCE Could be used with Team Abillities.

Your friend is wrong. He was proabaly just trying to give himself an advantage. You can't use RCE or CCE with anyother super powers besides preplex. Team abilities are not super powers.

Just to clarify, you can't use RCE or CCE with Perplex either. The RCE/CCE character can't use it if he has it, and no other character can use Perplex on them either. If another character Perplexes the target however, they are ok.

The only Super Power you can use with RCE and/or CCE is Probability Control. Team abilities are perfectly fine (with the possible exception of the Superman Enemy team ability, as it grants the Outwit super power).

It is a perfectly legal move and is actually THE only way to alter the printed value of the RCE user.

The PAC says REC cannot be used with any other superpowers...nothing about team abilities.
