View Full Version : Rule question
(perhaps this has been asked but I am new and ain't good at searching...)
How does hindering terrain affect mind control? does it block it or does it go through? does it affect the roll results?

I'm 99.9% positive that it just adds one to your opponent's defense.
You would have to roll one more than normal.

That's correct. Hindering still provides LoF to the target, but it adds 1 to your opponent's defense.
More specifically, if there is any hindering terrain between the characters (the number of squares doesn't matter) and the character attacking is not elevated and does not have the superman ally team ability, then defense is +1 :-) (whew!)
