I am not one to count chickens before they are hatched, so I won't, but how long do you think the Packers win streak will last? They are currently 9-0 on the season and have won 15 in a row.

Nov 20th Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-5 Home
Nov 24th Detroit Lions 6-3 Away
Dec 4th New York Giants 6-3 Away
Dec 11th Oakland Raiders 5-4 Home
Dec 18th Kansas City Chiefs 4-5 Away
Dec 25th Chicago Bears 6-3 Home
Jan 1st Detroit Lions Home

I see the Thanksgiving Day game to be the biggest issue with only a 4 day rest between games.

Despite a winning record
Lions = doormat
The Giants SUCK
Oakland couldn't stop AL DAVIS FROM DYING (oh, too soon) let alone that Packer offense.
The only game I see stopping the streak is Chicago because CHRISTMAS IS THE TIME FOR MIRACLES :bolt::laugh::laugh:

Rodger's is just too hot right now. He looks like a demi-god commanding the field out there.

He carved the Vikes up tonight and it was sad to watch Ponder try and scramble for yards and get smashed.

They may not repeat but I have a strong feeling they will take the NFC with ease. I only see 1 NFC team having a chance and that's the 49er's. Harbaugh has turned that offense into something to be reckoned with. I'm still not sold on their D but come playoff time it will be fun to watch.

I think meeting SF in the post-season would be both a good game and a worry for the Packers.

Again, I will not count chickens before they hatch.

Last 2 games of the year are the risky ones.

-Christmas Day against the Chicago Bears. The Chicago Bears have transformed into a much tougher team since last time they played.

-Last game against the Lions. Jahvid Best might be back and the Lions might've gotten their groove back by then. Also the Packers will determine if they want the perfect regular season themselves and the Lions will probably have a lot more to play for.

I predict 2 losses.

Loss 1: Either Detroit on Thanksgiving or the Giants the next week.
Loss 2: Detroit on New Year's Day. (They will be pulling starters like crazy because their eye will be on the Superbowl.)

As long as they continue to sacrifice kittens in vile occult rituals, they will keep winning. :cheeky:

Sorry, bitterness crept in there for a bit. Ah well. I'm thinking they will probably lose in one of the following ways.

1. November 20th to the Bucs in a classic letdown game.
2. November 24th to the Lions, going on the road on a short week against a Lions team desperate to prove something.
3. Go undefeated through the regular season and the playoffs, only to be beaten by the Patriots in the Superbowl, which would be ironic on so many different levels it boggles the mind. :)

Nah, if the Packers faces the Patriots and are undefeated at that point. The Pats will lose.

I'm betting on a loss to either Detroit (both games are dangerous ones) or the Giants. A front 4 pass rush like those two teams have is dangerous against a team that relies so heavily on it's QB.

Like others have said, either of the Detroit games or the Chicago game are the risky ones. They CAN run the gauntlet, but it comes down to if they want it. A few years ago the Colts had a chance to run it and decided not to go for it. Personally, if you've got a chance for it and your team is running pretty well, go for it. No need to disrupt all that momentum when you can keep going and become one of the best teams in NFL history.

I said it for the ironic value. :cheeky:

I dislike Jim Caldwell a lot for that decision and am glad that they suffered for that decision and hope they get rid of him.

Oddly enough, the Patriots faced a team that was uniquely suited to beat them in the Super Bowl. Facing any other team we're talking about the modern age undefeated season.

The Packers are more likely to face that type of team in the playoff or even this Thursday, thus are less likely to be perfect going into the post-season.

I agree. They had a real chance at going undefeated and chose to not go for it and rest everyone. Which of course resulted in home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but if you lose your first game it doesn't matter. I'm a Colts fan (was anyways) but that was tough to sit through.

Yup, that's what they call a "heart stopper" and quite possibly one of THE BEST GAMES PLAYED IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS.

At this point it looks like an AFC West team has the best shot. Because the Bears don't have the offense to keep up at this point and if they get to 15-0 against the Lions at home. They're going for 16-0.

AFC West? Lol, please tell me your joking.

Tebow is the only competent QB in that division. And he is still developing. So no, this division has no chance of getting to the SB. If they do, the Pack will wipe the floor with their bloodstained jerseys.

The AFC North has the top 2 contenders and the Patriots from the East will have the best shot. This is coming from a Titan.

Playoff picture will look something like this

Patriots
Ravens/Steelers
Texans
Bronco's

Wildcard's
Steelers/Ravens
Jets/Bengals/Raiders/Titans

The wildcard race is heated as many of us are 7-5 and have a tough remaining schedule w/ big Division games.

It's gonna be a fun December.

Well I think the Pack is the easy favorites to win it all but the most likely AFC candidate has to be either the Stellers or the Pats. Id have said the Texans if it werent for losing Schaub and Leinart both and possibly losing Johnson for an extended period with another hamstring injury. Though Yates didn't look bad sunday.

For the NFC id say its most likley going to be a Packers vs. Cowboys or Falcons match up for the NFC championship which again id say the Pack wins out.

Also i will say Im not going to count out the Broncos if they make the playoffs just because they have a QB in Tebow that is a winner. All he has done at every level is win and until he shows that he can't do it at this level I will believe he can despite all the "problems" he has mechanically.

Yeah, Yates looked like the real deal. Granted, the Falcons seem to falling apart at the seams. They lost Johnson again as he seized up to another Hammy which only bodes well for me. But yeah, I agree with you.

Pack is easy favorite for the NFC and it would take a huge upset to change that.

I like Tebow. He is great to watch, much like Vick. I just don't think he has the potential to put up points like some of the other high powered offenses that are out there.

I'd say if the Texans hadn't of lost Schaub and Andre that they could have taken the AFC. Now I actually have a shot at beating them in week 17.

AFC West? Lol, please tell me your joking.

Did you see my other posts on the matter. Yes, my last post was basically saying 16-0 is the Packers to lose. The Giants as we saw had the best chance. Now it's down to the Raiders, Chiefs, Bears, Lions.

The Bears are out of it period. Unless they win the next two games without Forte and Cutler, by the time the Bears face them they'll be playing just to keep the record from happening. Might be enough for the Bears' D to keep the Pack to 21 points or so. Problem is the Bears' O isn't scoring more than 10 against Pack.

The Lions may have the best shot on paper, but seeing them self-destruct (well moreso Suh) against the Pack at home. I don't see the discipline necessary for them to pull of the win in Green Bay, especially if they're going for 16-0.

So yeah the best chance for a loss with Green Bay now stands with the AFC West. Sad isn't it? Cause I don't see that happening.

I misunderstood. I thought you were saying that the AFC West had the best shot in the SB against the Pack. I did a double take.

I still don't know if I agree with that. The AFC West all have real weak offense's and the Pack's D is no joke. I think the Lions (w/ Suh) have the best chance. If they do go 15-0 and play the Lions they are going to have a good shot with it being a Home game. Personally, I think the pressure will get to the entire team and they will drop it to go 15-1. I anticipate an 18-1 season w/ a SB victory.

Yeah that was shocking.

Greg Jennings was out but for some reason Aaron Rodgers first half #s were pedestrian and they missed out on challenging that fumble/touchback.
