If someone masterminds damage to someone with supersenses, does that person get to roll for supersenses to avoid the damage?

Does anyone have an official ruling on this? It came into effect at a tournament, and we had to say no because we had no official ruling.
Although I haven't seen a official ruling, I believe no. I justify my reasoning in that if you Impervious does not work with Mastermind, because the fig with Impervious was not the target to the close/ranged combat damage, but merely received it indirectly.
Toughness and Invulnerability are the only abilities that reduced shed damage to the best of my knowledge.

You have a simpsons quote, therefore you MUST be right.
Long live homer!
Thanks to both of you for your help.
SUPER SENSES. This character can avoid being hit in combat. (Optional) When this character is successfully hit by a ranged or close combat attack, roll 1 six-sided die. On a result of 5 or 6, the attack misses this character instead.
Mastermind does not count as an attack, and therefore does not trigger Super Senses.
