well i won't actually build your team for you, only give some tips:
get a heavy hitter, he should have one or more of the following:
have a high Defensive value; it keep him from getting hit, if he can't be hit he will rule the board.
have either Invulnerability or Impervious, i prefer invulnerability, true you don't get to avoid the damage but you will ALWAYS get the reduction unlike if someone pulsewaves your Brainiac.
preferably have charge or running shot or have a taxi so they can move and attack in a single turn
get cheap fliers, they add mobility to your team. it is even bettter if your taxi has a high defense and free move special ability, you don't want to spend tons of points on a taxi.
Defend and and 18 DV to share is VERY good, i suggest you put Rookie Invisible girl on the team.
have atleast 4 people that can do stuff on your team, it makes it so you get all of your actions and don't have to push unless you want to
a cheap medic is a MUST
for your lower point figures Stealth is a very nice ability and makes the enemy come to you while you can still shoot at him...

I have a different point of view.
Some of the figures you should consider and why:
U Wasp. Taxi, Leadership, Free move.
E Booster Gold Taxi, Free move
R invisible Girl Defend, 18 Defense
R Doctor Octopus Willpower, Leap/Climb
R Nightwing Leadership, Leap/Climb, Incapacitate
E Gambit Stealth, Peprlex
R Doc Samson Leap/Climb, Super Strength, 3 Damage, Perplex
R Harley Quinn Perplex
V Harley Quinn Peplex, Outwit
V Huntress RCE, JLA Team ability
These are some of the more valuable figures in your collection for a 200 point game. Leadership and free move team ability will play an important role in the early stages of this game. Incapacitate is also a real life-saver. What better way to beat your opponent than to tie up all his figures from moving. Leap/Climb will be important to avoid having to make break-away rolls. The 2 free moving taxi's are probably your greatest asset in this game, especially U Wasp (leadership).
Medics will not be as essential in a 200 point game with a 10 round time-limit. Your best bet is to get into position and really whomp your opponent with extra moves. If you include leadership you have a possibility to take 3 moves instead of 2. And the free-movers are also good for this, especially in the taxi department. Doc Ock with willpower will also help with move and attack strategies.
Stay away from higher cost pieces. It will only eat up valuable space on your team.

Out of what you have, here's what I'd recommend:
Doc Sampson 74
Wasp 44
Doombot 33
Invis Girl 37
Medic 12
200 points exactly
ALWAYS keep Invis Girl in Hindering terrain and ALWAYS keep your entire team next to her.
Your other option would be this:
Doc Sampson 74
Iceman 36
Avalanche 19
Medic 12
Doombot 33
Hand Ninja 14
Criminal 12
200 points.
This idea revolves around the alternating barrier strategy. Use Iceman and Avalanche to protect your team from attacks while slowly moving the team into attack position. Don't forget to use the Hydra ability wherever you can and if possible use the criminal to tie up your opponent's heavy hitters.

i am still mixed on whether or not i like this strategy, it used to be that if you had one piece with a deep dial and invulnerability and then pieces to support it then if you can keep him alive you will win by lower the few figs on te other team that can easily hurt him, it was the battles of masters, one high point figs and then tons of lwers points and if either lost their high point fig they most likely would lose, now there are many lowers point figs that do high damage so it isn't as true, but i still see it as a used strategy, is it better to put your faith in one or two powerful pices that you can alternate moving or many small figures and do lower damage but you can swarm them, it is an age old question that has yet to be answered, but i suggest you play Both ways and learn which way you like better or maybe you will find your own pattern.
this is why i don't like to build teams for other people, they don't think the same way i do so i am quashing their creative building, it is better to give tips for each so they learn their own style of play......
wow, i REALLY went off on a tangent...

I do agree with your point of view. It's just the 200 point game is restrictive in the team-building phase of the game. Maybe devote 100 points (approx) to the boss and the rest to the support.

Reemas,
let us know what team you fielded and how you did. Good Luck!
First off, thanks a lot to everyone who responded. It really is appreciated.
Second, Im in the process of trying out all the teams over and over and soemtimes even swapping just 1 or 2 characters.
As soon as I figure it out I'll let you all know. And the tournament on sat. should be fun now that I kind of know who to use. I'll let you know how that goes too.
I'll post back real soon. Thanks!!!

That is one of the best ways to learn this game, by play testing it for yourself. Again GOOD LUCK!!
yeah i agree. darius. have u ever heard of paly testing alone? or do you just paly friends? i dont know many people who play so i was thinking if i treid it alone, i'd know my own moves. it probably wouldnt be good right?

It would work fine. But you have to seriously play both teams to win. It is the only way to find the weaknesses in both teams. Both teams that you field should be worthy of a tournament (at least to you).
If you don't have alot of CLIX then make up paper ones using the Warrior's Section here or on the Wizkids website under Marvel and DC in the FIGURE GALLERY. It's not easy but if you want to win or at least get better you have to practice. It does help to have friends with CLIX to assist you in this.

I agree with yours too actually, i just have this formula i use for building my teams and i usually pick a figure i want to field (who is usually high point or something) and build the team to support and minimize the figure's own weaknesses and add to its strengths. what i did was mention the technique i have seen used more and though easier to play with.

agreed, solo playtesting can be dangerous simply because you could accidentilly favor one team over another so you make mistakes or desisions you wouldn't normally make, and come away thinking your team is better than it is...
Ok so here's how the tournament went.
The players deicded to have NO dupes and with 8 of us there we went around the board picking 1 figure at a time.
So it was hard to pick a team I really wanted but I did the best I could. It was also 300 points.
In order I picked:
V Mandarin
V Vulture
V Huntress
E Whirlwind
V Aquaman
V Con Artist
R Paramdeic
And with that team I took second place. I beat most people by using mandarins 12 range, mind control and outwit. From far I would hit with Huntress and if they got close Aquaman and Whirlwind would finish them up. Sounds good and all but I placed second.
In that last match I got pulverized.
I mean Mandarin was the start of my team. Without him, I cant really put up a fight. And he was taken out in the first few truns. How?
I forgto my oppoents exact team, but it was Bulleye, Firelord, Destiny, U Wasp, Sheild Medic, Booster Gold, and i think a bit more.
I went first. But when he went, he used a taxi to move bullseye into range and weaken huntress. Then firelord came in and hit mandarin for 5 damage!! And that pretty much covers the match. But not bad for a first timer. I wone a LE 4 Elektra Natchios.
Thanks everyone for your help!!!!!!!!!
How about any fig with barrier, like iceman? Then firelord couldn't hit Mandy.
Yeah at that time I didnt know that I would be facing him and being my first tournament I never thought it would be so bad. But now I know. What are some other ways to get around firelord? I know he has about 8 range but he hits for 5 damage. His attack values are high and everything is going right for him.
