I opened up a booster and pulled a rookie storm over the weekend. Her base is the arch enemy type base, but it looks black to me. Who's her archenemy in xplosion?

No arch enemy for Storm. She just has the old-style base for some reason.

it was just an old base. if storm was to have a AE it would either be calisto the morlock leader or emma frost the white queen.

Actually if she were to have an AE it would be Shadow King.

Or Viper is another AE choice for that matter. Ororo has been in the X-books wil no actual breaks she's gotten a lot of rivals over the years....

Maybe the Mole Man could be her arch-enemy. He could be considered the master of deep, dark underground caverns. Storm hates those.

There was another thread about this and apparently Storm was originally slated for the IC set but moved back because the set was too large. They didn't bother to retool her base but just released her as they made her. The Experienced is on the inverted base, as they chose to make non-flyer versions of the rev's w/out the flying base after Hypertime. You will also notice that she has no powers that weren't in the first marvel set but E Storm does, (perplex)

Storm was once converted to vampire by Dracula. Maybe they'll finally get him out and not give him Blade as an Archenemy (I wish)...? :ermm:

It's possible that WizKids is actually planning ahead and her arch enemy will be included in the next expansion.

well theres no different color to the base, so onme would think they jsut gave her an old style base...
