Is there any rule of thumb regarding the price of an LE with the box as opposed to without it? For instance, a Ted Kord without his Level 5 box is worth less than one with his box. But about how much? Would you say the value of the Level 5 box is more than that of a level 3?
Thanks
Mike

I don't know. I've actually sold a Mad Hatter LE more out of the box one time than inside the box. The weird world of ebay. :)

For me the box means nothing. Most of my LEs have come in their boxes, so I have a pile of little empty LE boxes cluttering up my apartment. I am just interested in the figure, both as a player and as a collector. The box does mean anything more to me than same the booster box that I pull a unique from... or one that I pull a rookie from actually...
Since I've traded a good number of my LE's after winning them, I always keep my boxes, sort of a badge of victory. It saves space to flat stack them by cutting the level sticker in half though.
As for increasing the value of the figure for resale, that's probably in the eye of the beholder, but I'm sure most bidders don't care.
