Not to impose on the trend, but I wanted to pay respects to the ongoing tradition that thugit started by starting a KO list with my favorite Secret Sixers (who I decided to list together, since I basically play them as a pseudo-duo anyways).

They've always been fun for me whether on a Theme Team with the Six or mixing it up with other favorite figures. I should have done this a long time ago; last summer, I managed to rack up a lot of Parademon smackdowns. However, I'll just have to start now by reviewing the last 3 games I've played with them that took place in the past week or so.

GAME 1: Reign of the Catapults (or: Off to a Bad Start...)
*Let me preface this by saying that I have a large number of friends who play this game, so we can get quite competitive regardless of whether we have a prize to play for.
-This was a 600 point, 5 player battle-royale on (I think) the Minas Tirith map. I went unthemed and tried Peter and Parademon with Man-Beast, Tiger Shark, Black Tarantula, and SI Captain (Blacktain) America (Real American Hero!). Since I was playing Minas Tirith for the second time and had to face an extra 600 points worth of opposition after 3 people teamed up against a friend and I, things didn't go too well. Tiger Shark proved to be the biggest waste of points ever and Black Tarantula picked up 2 kills. Parademon punched Larleeze and Guy Gardner, but not before Ragdoll went down. Got slaughtered by Morlun and activated the Secret Six ATA, rolling enough to finish Guy off.

Parademon: +1 (Guy Gardner)
Ragdoll 0

I'll post more when I get back from work and rest up, just wanted to get this down now before I forget again. I guarantee, the KOs picked up dramatically in the 2 games that followed. :)

Yep, I'm excited to be a part of the party! Okay, I'm going to quickly sum up game 2 now (PS: I hope you don't hate me too much for Ragdoll's first knockout that I'm about to post :o):

GAME 2: PUNY HULK, MERKEL SMASH!

-We played a 300 point match in which I used Bane, Parademon, and Ragdoll. My opponent had the new Common Hulk, Common Daredevil, and Rocket Racer from WoS (good luck figuring out anything these guys had in common, let alone keywords) on a LotR battlefield-esque map. I got great positioning on the first turn, which helped prepare for Hulk's first attempted attack against Ragdoll. It failed, and instead of bothering with Rocket Racer (who sat as bait 2 squares away), I Venom-Pumped Bane +2 and Charged to cripple Daredevil. I Outwitted his defensive power and let Ragdoll throw 2 more damage onto Daredevil in order to KO him. Another turn passed, Bane soaked up a click from Hulk and Rocket Racer damaged Ragdoll, but let me get Peter away from the Hulk and next to Rocket. Parademon made it over after a miss and Bane was still busy dueling with the Hulk, finally exploding, and I used my Keyword Prob Control to ensure a 6 on the ATA roll, which brought Hulk to his last click. Parademon made short work of Rocket in the meantime, fully enforcing the "No Skateboarding" signs that we all know are posted everywhere in Middle Earth. The team rushed back to the Hulk, who made 1 last attempt at Regen and failed. I pushed to give Ragdoll a final shot, and he came through, dealing a single damage to finally defeat The Hulk! :)

Parademon: +1 (Rocket Racer)
Ragdoll +2 (Daredevil 021, Hulk 001)

KO List thus far:

Parademon:
Guy Gardner
Rocket Racer

Ragdoll:
Daredevil #021
Hulk #001

It's a shame some of the Thugit, Inc. players can't play off in real life. :(

Well, maybe they can. If any of you happen to be in North Carolina, look up Red Planet Games and Hobbies in your WES registry! :)

^Definitely. Likewise if anyone's in the Central New York area!

And thanks for the endorsement, Thugit! :)

GAMES 3/4: Team Names are Deceiving/Epic Boss Battle

-My 3rd and 4th games of the saga were against a cousin of mine that fervidly collects and plays power pieces like there's no tomorrow. The Secret Six got crushed by The Fantastic 3+3 (Reed, Torch, Thing, Spider-Man, Fixit, and Wolverine) pretty badly, but I bounced right back with them and brought down both Sauron and the new Darkseid in our following game!

Not much to talk about here; the first game saw a huge bias from the dice gods (8s and above nearly every turn from him, 6s and below for me). That being said, Ragdoll's Secret Six ATA gave him the credit for KOing Joe Fixit. Black Alice went down within the first turn and a half (he got really push-happy with these pieces), so my hopes were pretty well dashed right there. The match pretty much ended with Bane jumping into the fray and sacrificing himself, while Parademon Phased around and tried to find a good position to detonate. Sadly, he got smacked with a Perplexed-up damage from Human Torch and never got the chance. I also forgot to use Alice's Mystics TA the whole time *facepalm* but I'd make sure that didn't happen again...

Because in the second game, we somehow kicked a couple of 200-something point pieces all the way back to Mordpokolips. My cousin got a house rule few points over the limit here, just to play these 2. The game started out with Scandal getting demolished by the two, but she managed to dish 2 damage out to Sauron before that occurred. Deadshot really got a chance to shine as Alice and Ragdoll worked incredibly well together in Outwitting Sauron's Phasing and keeping him tied-up. In contrast to the last game, Ragdoll managed 3 Shape Change/Senses rolls in a row (whichever one wasn't being Outwitted), which allowed Deadshot the time to set up and deliver 2 deadly attacks, killing the terrifying, mystical, ringbearing beast of a man-creature...with only a gun. In that time, Bane and The Parademon were taking a beating from Darkseid, but they dished one out as well. Altogether, the Six managed to get him onto his last click, where he proceeded to Phase around the map like a scared baby, keeping just out of Deadshot's range every time. Eventually, after this got incredibly annoying for both of us, my cousin finally just had Darkseid attack Alice and take his Mystics damage, ending his game of hide-and-seek.

So...
Parademon: 0
Ragdoll: +1 (Joe Fixit, the Hulk set rampage continues!)

KO List Thus Far:

DC75th Guy Gardner

To quickly recap, I played a team recently that was composed solely of "Best Buddies". The components were as follows:

-Blue Beetle/Booster Gold duo
-WoS Groot and HoT Rocket Raccoon
-Vet Captain Cold and JL Heatwave
-Cap set Cobra and Mr. Hyde
-and, of course, Peter and The Parademon

I don't remember a lot about this game (except for Groot on his 6-damage clicks decimating an overconfident Dr. Doom), but Parademon, punched Ghost Rider and racked up a kill against SI Thing, then Peter took down Ghost Rider before he got a chance to roll for Regen, getting a small taste of revenge against that annoying Fantastic Four team that humiliated them once before and solidifying Ragdoll's reign when up against IH pieces on their last clicks. I have to note that none of this would have been possible if not for Cap Cold doing his best to dog Mr. Fantastic with Barriers/Incaps and keeping his annoying power out of commission for as long as possible

Parademon: +1 (clobbered Mr. Clobbering Time)
Ragdoll: +1 (Ghost Rider, a truly serendipitous revenge KO)

KO List Thus Far:

Parademon:
DC75th Guy Gardner
Rocket Racer
SI The Thing

Ragdoll, Spirit of Vengeance:
Daredevil #021
Hulk #001
IH Joe Fixit
IH Ghost Rider

Hey all! I took my 300 point Secret Six team to their first actual tournament yesterday and had a blast with them! Went 2-2 on my first showing (good enough for 3rd place, overall) and let the dynamic duo add a few more names to the list. SU basketball lost their first game the night before, so I was a little hungover the day of and continued that drinking binge the night after, so I'll just post the KOs that I remember, haha:

Parademon: +4 (SF Vega with help from Bane, FF Dr. Manhattan, DC75th Green Arrow, WoS Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, various medics/nurses that I won't count)
Ragdoll: +3 (BA004 The Batman, GSX Nightcrawler!, IH Daredevil AGAIN!)

-My losses came to a Metron/Nightcrawler combo and Daredevil, Guy Gardner, and Normie (mainly Guy Gardner). Peter certainly gave Guy a workout in the second game though, nailing right around 4 Super Senses rolls in a row! And Metron was obviously too much to handle, I hit him on the top end of most rolls, but his PC/Impervious combo got the better of me every time; no surprise there, this team is fun, but was never meant to be top-dog material and I ended up having a great time with them anyways, constantly making jokes about my pieces and talking up the Secret Six comic to those who were previously unaware of it's existence.

KO List Thus Far:

Parademon:
DC75th Guy Gardner
Rocket Racer
SI The Thing
SF Vega
FF Dr. Manhatten
DC75th Green Arrow
WoS Norman Osborn/Green Goblin

Ragdoll, Fighter of the Night Man...Champion of the Sun:
Daredevil #021 (x2)
Hulk #001
IH Joe Fixit
IH Ghost Rider
BA004 The Batman
GSX Nightcrawler
