Arkansas: Little Rock or Boiling Springs

The weekend of April 12th I will be stuck in Arkansas. I have a choice of going to Little Rock or Boiling Springs. Which city has better gaming stores and overall entertainment value? Which city will be having what kind of tournies?

I understand there's a greased pig catching contest in boiling springs. Winner keeps all!

Arkansas isn't that bad... :cry: I'm from there originally, even though I live in Texas now (school at Rice U., now working, etc...). Anyways, if you stop catching pigs or whatever long enough, there's several gaming stores in Little Rock. I think one's called Family Game Center or something like that, which holds clix tourneys. You can find it on the event locator on the Wizkids site as I've done before.

Well, at the very least, I can recommend my mom's chinese restaurant as a good place to eat. It's in a shopping center called Lakewood Village called Orient Express.

Actually the Heroclix tourneys at FGC are on Saturdays at 2:00. We are probably going to have sealed booster tourneys for a while. Last week a couple of guys from Hot Springs came up and said there wasn't much in the line of game stores there. Usually there are ten to twelve that show up for the tourneys. It's a pretty cool place to play. Although the greased pig contest is usually on Sundays. Right after the tobacco spitting contest. :grin: Hope to see you there.

I'd love to be there. The WK site says the tourney takes place on Thursday I think, but I'd love to show up and just play any game :) Tourney or not. I have soem Skrulls who are itching to invade.
