Double Incapacitate

This came up last night so I am just checking.

Xplosion V Daredevil for instance has INC and 2 targets.

If an opponent has 2 figs based with DD, can he INC them both?

I would say no (even though it might start to make INC a little more worth it) as the targets are only for ranged combat and with 2 figs B2B, you cannot range attack.

I might actually play DD if I could drop him next to 2 opponents and have him INC, he would be excellent for tieup with his 17 D and SS.

You are correct. You cannot target multiple figs when B2B with opposing figs. The lightning bolts are muti-target ranged attacks, not close combat attacks. However, if the character has flying, he can still do ranged attacks when B2B.

If they are base-2-base with Daredevil... then DD can only make Close Combat attacks....

You're right.. the two target icons are ONLY for Ranged Combat attacks....

So, no... DD would not be able to use Incapacitate on both adjacent opposing figures.

I belive only if both qualified for range attacks. Sya if they were both fliers. But if one is grounded, then no since two target INC would need to be a ranged attack and you're then disqualified from making ranged attacks.

Thats the plus of Incapacitate. Wasp (Unique) and Vet Black Widow both can shoot twice and Incapacitate. Its the nice thing about DOuble Incapacitate.
