I love the idea, and since the Marvel/Capcom games worked so well, and are big sellers, it would only be a money maker!
Mega Man alone could make an expansion set, what with all the various powers he gets, all the villians across the basic, MM X series, the 3D ones from PSX.
And how cool would it be to have a whole buncha Zombies wandering the board, on fire and with a lot of poison! Even BCF! Lickers, Tyrant big figs! ooooooohhhhhhhh :knockedou

Before the boards were revamped, there was a brilliant thread about Capcom clix, and two guys both came up with really nice sets of 96, incorporating everything from Street Fighter to Ghosts N Goblins and most everything inbetween. I think if they got the two soldiers from Forgotten Worlds they had everyone represented somehow.
My critique on them: NEEDS MORE HAGGAR!! ;p
Whoever did them, maybe they could repost. In the meantime, Capcom suckas need stats. Bad stats for Strider will not be tolerated. ;p
1. SNK Clix. I love it. Bring on KoF, Metal Slug, Shock Troopers (esp. 2nd Squad!) and the like! I WANT AN IGNIZ!!!!!
2. Thunderbolts, you HAVE TO FIND ME THOSE GUYS! I had some ideas for Strider Hiryu, you could definetly do an REV version (new look "ninja strider") and a U Classic Hiryu. He, of course, has to have leap/climb and CCE! As for Haggar, sure, if we have Cody and Guy as well. Make him a Unique, just so we don't have the Zangief/Haggar clone effect.

Forgive me, HOW THE SMEG DID I FORGET DANTE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!??!!? The star of one of the best games ever definetly deserves to be in there, and with a Unique demon form. Very nice list there.
Intriguing lack of medics there, as well as the villains I suggested for arch-rivalries.
What about Power Stone? Would make an interesting sculpt challenge, have the R and E versions normal, and the Vets in Power Forms.

Personally, I think a lot of the fighting game characters would make boring clix figures. I mean, the generic shotokan (Ken, Ryu, Akuma, <yawn>... ) guys are just, y'know, good fighters, with a minor ranged attack. So, maybe close combat expert, range of 6, damage of 1. Maybe a click of charge for hurricane kick. And maybe a Hobgoblin surprise on their last click for a supermove (Ryu might get RCE, etc). Boring, imho.
Just give me a Dhalsim, though, and I'll be happy. A flying phasing (teleporting) taxi, with RCE and a click or two of Perplex. Dhalsim's the man.
Oh, and I'd like Cammy too, but I can't see her clix incarnation as being too terribly exciting. Charge (for Spiral Arrow), CCE, no range... and her rookie version would be on the "M. Bison" team (whatever team ability that might give her). I guess after she loses Charge, she'd gain Leap/Climb (since she can't have them both at the same time)...

Starting around December i started playign around with a little side project where i made a collection of Capcom vs SNK figures with only minor mods to powers and such to make things fit easier.I got about a good 30 done but didnt really know where to show them and havent had a chance to play them in a online game.If anyone wants i could just throw some of them up and see what everyone thinks

Ok to make it work with a real fighting game kind of appeal a few minor variations had to be made.Mostly its a few custom team abilties a variation on a power or two and a couple new ones.For reference heres the design changes i made
Powers
Energy Field-A pulsewave/Energy explosion variation basically a shockwave type attack in a 2 square radius from the character and reducing damage BY 1 [sentinel style not to 1].Being used to represent things like Blankas electricity Geeses Raging storm or a Shotos hurricanne kick
Weapon Use-A replacement for super strength.Lets face it not many of theses guys grab dumpsters in a fight.Essentially the same as SS the character grabs an object with the abilties in line with the 3-D objects [not just base damage bonuses thats boring].Lots of fun for characters like Cody Guy Vega Billy Kane any Samurai Showdown Uniques etc
Chain combo-HSS variation.Works just like the close combat version of HSS except defense doesnt raise after every hit and there is a damage cap of 5.Exists for characters like Fei Long Kyo Darkstalkers charcters Morrigans "Hunter" chains or exceptionally fast combo friendly characters
Counter-as toughness vs b2b attacks only and anytime a b2b attack is missed roll 1d6 and a 5 or 6 causes one automatic damage through any defensive powers.Geese and Karin are prime candidates
Reflect-As energy shield/deflection but on any missed ranged attack roll 1d6 and on a 5 or 6 cause 1 automatic damage though any defensive powers.Rose and AThena come to mind here

Street Fighter-Free move [base main team ability after all]
Street Fighter Alpha-X-men team [Characters like Charlie/Rose/Sodom all sacrifice themselves in the story for others]
Shadowloo-MoE/IL ability

King of Fighters-Wild card team [KOF was originally a cross-over game with characters from different fighters]

This is basically bison holding back near the end of many alpha games and leading his vast Shadowloo network rather than directly trying to take down his enemies.He ges better when he tries much better but for now its a cheap leadership version of Bison

Athena would be a heck of a sculpt challenge. For starters, what costume? She changes nearly every year! I say 2001 style. I love the powers!
I say Fantastic 4 style power for the Alpha team, it fits better in my opinion. Shadaloo having the MoE/IL power fits like a glove.

Imho, for Blanka, I would add a rule that a character with 0 range who has pulse wave is treated as having a range of 4 (just like Mind Controllers)... and then that range of 4 is halved to create a pulse wave range of 2 for Blanka.
I see hurricane kick as Charge not pulse wave, since the character with hurricane kick actually moves towards (or away from) the opponent.

I wouldn't give Ryu so much Leap/Climb (until the Versus games). Everyone can jump, and he's nothing special in that regard. I'd save Leap/Climb for characters like Chun Li, Vega, or Cammy.
I notice that you've gone with *both* Charge for Hurricane Kick and Energy Field (Pulsewave). I think having both is redundant (unless you want Energy Field to represent his Super Hurricane Kick, in which case, I'd make it a "Hobgoblin surprise", something he gets at the end of his dial as his last ditch attack.
I don't think I would give him toughness, since I can't imagine bullets bouncing off of him, but he could easily have more clicks of Willpower.
I *definitely* would not give him RCE. Yeah, he plays keepaway, but he doesn't do much damage with keepaway. Keepaway just annoys people so that they come close to Ryu, where he does his real damage. I'd give him CCE and no RCE at all... unless you want to give him one click of it to represent his Shinkuu Hadoken (another "Hobgoblin surprise").
So, using the same numerical stats you gave him, I'd envision something more like:

So he can plink fireballs at people, annoying them by using Supersenses (invulnerable dragon punch) to avoid their attacks (and if they come up close, the dragon punch can hit them with CCE). If he needs to get up close to someone instead of playing keepaway, he can, using hurricane kick for charge. And if he lands on his last click, he can leap away and next turn push (without taking damage thanks to Willpower) to use his Shinkuu Hadoken (RCE).

Well, Dhalsim does levitate in his win poses at least, so I don't think flight is out of the question. He also can at least glide through the air with his "Yoga Mummy" moves as well.
Because of the Yoga Mummy moves I could see Dhalsim having Charge somewhere on his dial... maybe only on his first click.
I wouldn't have thought of Pulse Wave for Yoga Flame... I never thought of it as that big until the Versus games.
The one thing that he's really lacking on the stats you've given him there is Perplex. People hate fighting against Dhalsim (at least when I'm playing him :grin:) because he has all sorts of seemingly unpredictable moves. Instead of the 2 damage, I'd probably give him 1 with perplex (works out the same if he perplexes himself for damage, but he can do more things with it too).

This is basically bison holding back near the end of many alpha games and leading his vast Shadowloo network rather than directly trying to take down his enemies.He ges better when he tries much better but for now its a cheap leadership version of Bison
He can teleport in the Alpha games, so he should have some clicks of phasing (which unfortunately will mess up his charge... but the Alpha M.Bison doesn't have the psycho crusher except as a super move, so I'd give him lots of phasing, with charge near the end of the dial... except you don't want charge near the end of your dial-- that's when you want phasing the most!) I guess the charge could be his knee press. And, of course, more experienced versions will actually be able to fly, which will make phasing even more important.
The alpha version does have a ranged attack, so he definitely needs range to throw his weird purple energy ball.

I think Dhalsim might be interesting with some plasticity to represent his stretching limbs, and at least provide some varying abilities.
Chun Li could be fairly decent with a relatively low move (8-9) and Hypersonic Speed, which would represent not only her Lightning Kick for the flurry version, but also her annoying bounce off an opponent's head, if she did the hit and run. L/C after she lost hypersonic I'd also give her dmg of about 1, possibly 2 for the veteran, range 4 in her E and V.

If anyone should be a keep-away ho, its Ken! :angry: I mean, that guy just goes fireball ad infinitum until you're in range of his shoryuken. But that would just suck in HC.

Okay, so he's powerful. Here's the reasoning. Incapacitate for the flame effect on a heavy Dragon Punch. Super senses for the invulnerability effect. CCE bacause, hey, its a dragon punch! Flurry on the last clicks for the "Hobgoblin Surprises" that are Shoryureppa, Shinryuken and Shippu Jinrai Kyaku. His attack is lower because Ryu has always been the better fighter.
Now, because I can, a Unique! The one, the only SHIN AKUMA!!!!!

Well one of the problems with the whole thing is keeping a good amount of variety.Just making the Hurricane kick Charge might be simple but then it has absouletly no vareity from horde of other characters that get charge same with CCE which couold easily be given out like in buckets like skrull dupes or something.Thats why i never got around to making Ken yet just because im having trouble thinking of a proper way to make him that also makes him an individual character rather than just a "Shoto clone" as Capcom has done time and again

yes.. he SO deserves steal energy... that fits so well.. he should have it for the whole dial minus his 1st click..
ure makin the rookie versions... i think the vet ralf deserves invulnerability for a click or 2.... this is probably reserved for super armour characters... but his charge and galatica phantom all have invincibility...
for clark.. id give him CCE most of the way as a grappler.. maybe 1 click of charge at the beginning.. since he's got the running grabs and running 3...
someone make krizalid!! u could make him 10-11 clicks... for first 5 clicks.. give him decent.. but still powerful stats... then to represent his 2nd form w/out his cloak.. his complete form.. clicks 6-11 are much tougher and like an entirely different char!!

hmm... i really think that M. Bison needs to be more powerful than he is, i diddnt play every game up to the newest 1 but i have played 2, and he has that annoying attack in that one where he lights hmself aflame and attacks then goes back.
also, E honda needs supersonic speed to represent his hundred hand slaps.
what was the name of the spanish guy that used a claw? and the tall fighter that uses tiger uppercut, tiger flame, and tiger knee..

Greenlantern-Bison does get better hes actually not my design but a friend of mine however he does get stronger in his other versions.His Exp is much more offensive and has a few projectiles and psychic blast added around the dial but his Vet is the all out Psycho drive poiwered combat monster version.Oh yeah i also dont think there will be much b/c/f just too much raw damage not enough defensive powers and its kinda absorbed by the weapon use ability besides Vega should NOT do that much damage at all
Flashfire-I actually wanted to keep things mostly kin the Orochi saga and i particularly hate the old navy guy :) .Yeah Clark should have some CCE and i think alot of the grappler types will have that moreso than most characters just to keep CCE more of a varied power rather something everyone and their palette swap has

His last three of Movement should be Phasing, couldn't find yellow.
Leap/Climb is obvious if you've played his games... Phasing for his teleport move. B/C/F for that great big sword of his. Energy Shield represents his fast movement and dodging (is it a stretch for Super Senses?). And Perplex for all those robotic minions he has like hawks, tigers, Uroboros etc. Why only 6 clix? He takes damage like a little girl in the fighting games, and doesn't take much damage in his own platformers.
Wow. I never thought of perplex being used to represent Hiryu's robotic minions. I like it.

LOL. Cool stuff here. If I knew the characters better I'd have a go at the stats myself.
One thought on the Weapon Use power- it should be the same as Super Strength, but only for Light objects. That would make perfect sense for these style of characters, and add some cool diversity to Heroclix in general. You may actually prefer to choose the light object some times. :p
Right, here I go trying to do what's probably the E or V of the man himself, Dante of the AWESOME "Devil May Cry" and the hideously dissapointing "Devil May Cry 2". For this one he's wielding either Alastor or Ifrit, switches to Ebony and Ivory and then starts to beat a retreat. Regen's there for a Vitality Star, as I don't know about others here, but I only use one when I'm desperate and out of DT energy.
