The first of the series featured the Super Nintendo, one of the greatest consoles of my generation. This mafia game is held in a fantasy world where video game characters not only come to life... they become a part of you!

The rules are simple! Come up with a list of characters that have appeared in a Sega game that was featured on a Sega console. This can be a mere cameo appearance in one game to full-on exclusive appearances on one of Sega's console. The only rule is, the character MUST appear in a Sega game from a Sega console.

The qualifying Sega consoles are:

SG-1000
Sega Master System
Sega Mega-Drive/Genesis
Sega GameGear
Sega Mega-CD
Sega 32X
Sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast

The original Mash-Up brought you beloved combinations such as hCoolRaider (h2Raider and Cool Spot), Velgamesh (Velius and Gilgamesh), Locke_Krinn (Rokk_Krinn and Locke Cole), and the grand role of them all: The Gamedr3am3r (MorpheousDr3am3r and The Game Genie)!

After I receive submissions, I select a character and combine its name with your screen name, then I create a powerset that fits the new character's description (sometimes it's a stretch, but I like to get creative).

There will be video game inspired events that players can participate in throughout the day phases. Otherwise, it will be a standard mafia game.

I would like 18 players to start, but there will always be room for more. The game is expected to start the end of February.

Question, does it matter if it's only on that console? IE Sonic Adventure was originally on the Dreamcast before it got #####d out...

As long as it is a character from a game that appeared on one of the consoles, yes.

For example: Aero the Acrobat was an SNES Game, but it was also a Sega Genesis game. Aero would be acceptable.

Alex Kidd In Miracle World was only on the Master System, but Alex Kidd would be allowed.

That's fine if it does. I just thought it was damn cool in concept. The last one got a bad rap cause it was so friggin -hard- to do anything :p
