The idea behind it is to have mandarin carry psylocke around using enhancement to snipe people or MC when its useful. Green goblin carries around Doc sampson to bash some skulls for possibly 8 damage a shot!! Medic and operative hang back, backing each other up if attacked. Destiny tries to stay within Mandarin and Docs LOS to ensure succesful hits. I have not tested this team yet, but Im sure it will do very well (in my hands). Share your thoughts on my creation if you would like. Props, flames, whatever your opinion is are all welcome. Just keep in mind that I am a very experienced player if you critique my fig choices. May you roll high when it matters most. speed.;)

I have used a team like this in 300 pt games (no doc samson) and two con artists instead of destiny and went undefeated. I won a 14 person tourney and a 6 person tourney. It's very effective , I'd like to try a 400 pt team but my venues generally play 3oo pts.

Imo, 7 pieces on a team is not very many for a 400 point match. You could probably afford to downgrade Doc Sampson and Psylocke to add some more pieces.

For example: your vet Doc Sampson = 102 points.
Exp Hercules(67) + Rke Mystique(34) = 101.

Also, how would your team handle an alternating barrier strategy?

You could indeed drop sampson for hercules and additional figs. I simply put him on the team to try him out. I normal am very cautious to use more than 1 fig on my team over 100 pts. I will as, a general rule; try to use at least 2 figs for every 100pts being played. People at the venues here never play alter barrier strategies. It is a very situational question to answer anyway because there are many factors to consider. I would generally either, set a trap that forces my opponent in to a bad position (do it all the time) or just take out the problem figure when the opportunity presents itself.

hope that helped.
