The casting call has begun to the sequel for the biggest movie of 2011. Are you in? Do you has what it takes?
This casting couch can be as large as needed, and it will be much simpler and easier to follow than my last project. It is set to open up a little bit after Avengers v. Masters of Evil finishes.
So there you have it.

just a quick plug: this one will be a lot smoother than my current game. If you at all liked the increasingly inaccurately named Avengers v. Masters of Evil, please consider signing up for this one.

OKay, I am abandoning this idea for lack of player interest. For future reference, here is the set up and all the roles:
Set up: the game is essentially a casting call about the sequel to cowboys versus aliens, with two producers talking and discussing different aliens that could be in the movie.
Everyone was going to act like who they really were and look like who they were pretending to be. The Clue cop was going to get hints about the first role, and that is really what the powers were based on anyway.
Town: Aliens (13): still need tracker / reverse tracker
Eddie Powell as Clint Eastwood’s stunt double (Where Eagles Dare) pretending to be Alien (Alien)
--Bodyguard: you are a wicked awesome stunt double. When you bodyguard, you are bulletproof. If someone targets you for a kill, you will die normally.
Geeky Aliens [from Galaxy Quest] pretending to be human
--Clue Cop: once a night gets a clue from a character
Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. Computer Generated Effects for the Green Goblin (Spider-Man) pretending to be the Computer Generated Effects for The Thing (from movie the thing)
--You may do a Vig kill during odd number days, but you do not have to use this power on odd days.
--On any day, you may hide behind another player. If that player is mafia, you will die.
Actor playing Cylar pretending to be Spock
--Masoned with Lenard Nemoy -- they take turns giving the actions for both players.
--Cylar may make a night kill during even days
--Mimic: Cylar may target any dead character and gain that character’s power as a one use power.
Lenard Nemoy playing Spock pretending to be Galvatron (Transformers [1986])
--Masoned with Cylar -- they take turns giving the actions
--Spock may ghost write a scene from a future
--Spock may note pass.
Carlo Rambaldi who designed E.T. (E.T.) to rig it to look like the Aliens from Close Encounters of the Third Kind
--Doctor: may heal a character and stop a night kill on a target.
Keanu Reeves playing Neo (Matrix) pretending to be Klaatu (the Day the Earth Stood Still)
--You are the One. You may misdirect time. Target another player. Their action will happen next turn rather than this turn.
Director Tim Burton directing Edward Sissorhands adjusting it to direct Mars Attacks
--You are the director. Each night, you must give another player directions in the form of an order to follow. The directions must be something that the other player can do (vote against Blank / target Blank tonight / say the words Blank). If they do it, their action for the following night will either be guided or doubled. If they don’t follow it, their action will be either misdirected or roleblocked.
Brandon Routh playing Todd Ingram(Scott Pilgram v. the World) pretending to be Superman (Superman Returns)
--Todd Ingram is able to psychically listen to other people’s thoughts from his vegan powers. You may “hear” their alignment, based on how evil their thoughts are.
Star Trek alien with weird forehead and face playing slightly different Star Trek alien with weird forehead and face.
--You are a peaceful race in need of Federation help / a gentle but proud people who desire peace. One or other, can’t remember.
--Each night you may either draft a peace treaty and present it to another player. If that player accepts, neither you nor that other player may vote to lynch the other nor target the other with a hostile power. OR,
--Each night you may request aid from another player. If they accept, both of you are protected from nightkills for that night, but both of you take one less vote to lynch for the next night phase.
John Travolta playing Tony Manero (Saturday Night Fevor) pretending to be Terl (Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000)
--You know how to dance. Choose a dance partner. That person is so engrossed in dancing with you, that they cannot target anyone for the night, nor be targeted. They are jailkept.
Pink Jello pretending to be The Blob (the Blob)
--You can absorb another person for the night, silencing them for the day phase, but they are unlynchable. On the positive side, you can use their vote for the day, making you a double vote. On the negative side, the same amount of votes are required. The mod lovingly suggests using this power on overly silent players.
Frank Oz playing Miss Piggy (Muppets series) pretending to be Yoda (Star Wars series)
--You are a PGO, but you can turn it on and off. As a night action, you may “turn on” your PGO ability, but you become hated (requiring a 1/3 vote majority to lynch). You can also turn off your ability as a night action, and you become loved (requiring a 2/3 vote majority to lynch).
Mafia: Cowboys (4)
Daniel Craig playing Ben Driscoll (Invasion) pretending to be Jake Lonergan (Cowboy v. Aliens) Don
--Power ideas: does not sleep. Every night you automatically reverse track yourself. 2/3 majority
--May power cop two people as a night action, but you will get information only on one, and you will not be sure who the powers match up to.
If you do the night kill, it’s a vanilla kill with nothing special going on.
Harrison Ford playing Han Solo (Star Wars series) pretending to be Woodrow Dolarhyde (Cowboys and Aliens)
--Han shot first. Whenever you make the night kill, you are bulletproof for the night.
--Millennium Falcon: You are a guide. When you fly someone, they get where they are going.
--Chewbacca: As a night action, you can hide behind your furry friend. If you do so, you cannot perform any other action. For that night, you have a town cloak and cannot be roleblocked. If you are “killed”, Chewie will die for you instead, and you will no longer be bulletproof.
Olivia Wilde playing Quorra (Tron: Legacy) pretending to be Ella Swenson (Cowboys and Aliens)
--You are easy to rebuild. If you are killed off through any means, you must wait a full phase (one day, one night or the reverse, depending on when you died). Afterwards, any member of your mafia can resurrect you as a night action.
--When you are given the nightkill, you may also doctor another player.
--Your only other skill is jumping in the way. You may bodyguard another player.
Sam Rockwell playing Guy (Galaxy Quest) pretending to be Doc (Cowboys and Aliens)
--You are the least popular and least known person on the show. Does anyone even know your last name? When you are given the night kill, you are entirely immune to tracking and reverse tracking.
--As a night action, you can make a huge fuss to try and become a recognizable character. You are a dragger, and whoever you target will appear in the write-up with you. But you make it about you: in the write-up, it will appear as if they targeted you.
Neutrals: (4)
Zoe Saldana playing Nyota Uhura (Star Trek) pretending to be Neytiri (Avatar)
--On night 1, you must target a character. You win if that character wins, even if you die.
--Apparently You Are Just a Conquest… : As a night action, you may pass a note to that character. It may say anything you wish.
--Communication Expert: As a night action, you may intercept and overhear some (but not all) note passes or mason communications. Some information might be redacted (depending on game balance)
Will Smith playing “J” (Men in Black) pretending to be Captain James West (Wild Wild West)
--Serial Killer: Not only are you supposed to take out all the aliens, you are also supposed to make sure you erase everyone’s memory. While this is your movie role, you take your role very seriously.
--Eye-Thing-y: You make people see what they want you to see. When / if a town member or neutral alignment cops you, you will appear as town. To mafia, you will appear as neutral.
--MIB Databases: When you make a night kill, the kill is janitored, but you will learn their role and alignment.
--Powerful Weaponry: The first time you are role blocked, misdirected, or busdriven you will ignore the effect, but the targeting player will be told their action was successful.
Mel Gibson playing Rev. Graham Hess (Signs) pretending to be Bret Maverick (Maverick)
--Neutral Survivor: You are not so much anti-alien, you just wish to survive the alien invasion. If you survive until the end of the game, you may win with any faction.
--Reverend: Your faith has been restored! Each day phase, you may ask for a sign. You may ask the mod (in the thread) any yes or no question. He will respond in thread. It cannot be about player alignment.
Dustin Hoffman playing Dr. Norman Goodman (Sphere) pretending to be Jack Crabb (Little big Man)
--You are a psychologist, and you are putting together some psychological profiles for your files.
--As a night action, you may target a character to analyze. You will be given their win condition.
--Your win condition is to establish a balanced “first contact” team. You will need one town member, one neutral, and one mafia member. You win when you have information on all three AND they are still alive.
That's a pretty great character list. I am disappoint.
