What are the rules relating to taxiing a figure that is tied up? Can a flying figure swoop down and take the tied up teammate back to a medic or does the tied up figure have to role a breakaway and then get saved? I've seen and heard both arguments and I'm now looking for the truth. The quick save is plausable, but it goes against the rules of breakaway.
PLEAAAAAAASE help!!!

the figure being taxied doesn't have to roll for breakaway since he/she is not being assigned a move action......

as long as the taxiing figure is not in base contact with an enemy, no breakaway roll will be needed.

if you have a figure next to an opponent's figure and you need to save the poor sap, you can use a flyer to pick him up and move him away from the enemy? And the sap doesn't role a breakaway?

You only have to make a breakaway roll if the taxi needs to breakaway.

ABC

If A is the Taxi, B is who you want to taxi and C is the opposing character. Then yep you can do it.

CABC

Now if you have this A needs to make a breakaway first before he can taxi.

Also remember you have to start your move next to someone you want to taxi. When you set someone down you end your move also.
