Uniques in starter packs?

I thouoght I heard somewhere that you were sure to get a unique piece in every starter pack. I've opened three and have only pulled uniques from two. Was my info incorrect, or was my odd box the mistake?

I don't think your gauranteed to get a unique in a starter. My luck has run hot and cold. I've gotten one a pack for a while, none for a while, and once I got two.

I once got the DC Starter and pulled an U Catwoman out of it.

Every starter Ive opened has had in it a U. Ive also seen two starters pulled have a U thanos in them (in a row, back to back)

I bought a second DC starter set from a store that was going out of business, and pulled a unique Catwoman.

I've seen a gordon come out of a starter

and I myself have pulled ic elektra and quasar out of a starter

however, I've never heard that, if so I'd be buying starters like nuts

I got my first of 3 Darkseid's from my first DC starter. The best thing I got out of my Marvel starter, IMHO, is my rookie Juggernaut.

If this was true I'd buy more starters than boosters. I pulled a U Quasar out of my Marvel starter, but when my bro bought a DC he got none (although he he got a V Superman so he wasn't too upset).

in 3 IC startes i got 2 U's for 2 of them and the other i didnt get one. it was Elektra and juggernaut for the first one, quasar and cyclops for the second one. for the HT start iu bought, i got no uniques BUT i got a R superman, E batman, and V flash so thats awsome :)

In my DC Starter I got a U Joker. Course' I just traded him for a Vision, but still, it was my first DC Unique. I've also gotten veritable truckloads of IC Starters when Zany Brainy still had them, they produced for me Thanos, and Two Elektras out of maybe eight I bought total.

Just so you know, the chances of pulling Uniques out of starters is great. My friend and I shredded 12 Starters on time, and pulled 11 Uniques. Some of the starters had 2 Uniques, and some had none.

Three starters, two Marvel and one DC.

Two uniques; first Marvel had a Wasp, and the DC had Darkseid.

I have seen a great many starters opened, though, and my take on the whole thing is that you are as likely to get a unique out of a starter as you are out of any two given booster packs...

I pulled U Elektra out of my first and only starter. There's no guarantee, but your chances are apparently pretty good. :)
