No traits, No Specials - 500pts

Just curious what you'd bring out for a no traits, no special powers game that is coming this weekend.

No feats or bfcs, and you can use GSX "bigs" if you want.

Just not sure if I should go purely pre-LOSH or if there are some gems I might be overlooking among more recent sets that don't have special powers/traits.

I think I hurt the units section by trying to search Modern for "is not Special" in all slots...

I'm thinking about GLs or maybe some Armor-based stuff (War Machine, Iron Widow, etc.). Lots of options, certainly, so I just want to find something fun and solid.

I'm looking at CA Viper, the ol' Baron Strucker, and Dreadnaughts and Hydra Agents... that sounds like more fun.

I suppose I probably will see Supes though... so that's not great for my chances.

Hahaha, I've played something similar to that before. Hydra just doesn't have the range or speed to really be a threat. Plus you can't play Baron Strucker cuz of his trait and white abilities, right? And you couldn't play Richard Fisk another key Hydra member.

Moonstone is a great piece. As well as Lucy Lane at 75 points and Osiris at 101. Good pieces without any white powers are hard to come by now.

I've done that before and it was so demoralizing to the people I played against, I'd prefer not to head back down that road again.

I've started looking at LOSH teams and think that might be where I end up.

I used to play the starter Cosmic Boy constantly, so it'd be nice to pull him out again.

tk thanos, blow someone up with pblast, finish off with thor. Anyone gets injured? no problem, low def value is christmas day for the paramedic.
I dont think there are better figures pre-speacial power era than these ones. (not counting the KC overpowered stuff, since they're just plain broken)
