I'm thinking about using this team in an upcoming IG3 event. The venue isn't extremely competitive yet, but is moving towards it.
SI Dr. Strange - 149
SHIELD Field Agent 203b x2 - 50
Nightcrawler - 86
Nurse - 10
Gamma Bomb - 5
Point Total = 300
The idea behind the team is to use Dr. Strange as a slightly more mobile Professor X. Shield him with the Shield Agents (slight pun intended), using stealth and/or shape change and using Strange's defend to put them at an 18dv. Dr. Strange can shoot through the agents with a range of at least 12, while nightcrawler can go back and forth between protecting Strange and pulling people into position. Gamma Bomb would be placed in a spot that Dr. Strange can hit, and if it blows up it'll take most, if not all, of the blocking terrain with it. This will also hopefully annoy any Professor teams that I may encounter. Both Strange and Nightcrawler shouldn't have a difficult time getting back to the nurse if they need to and can also use the X-Men TA on eachother as well.
Of corse I'll probably have to sit on the elevated terrain most of the time, but I'm hoping with my huge range on both of my main figures that I'll be able to get the first attacks in and start picking them off. My biggest concern is being out-actioned.
