<P><B>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE</B><P ALIGN="CENTER"><B>WIZKIDS COLLECTABLE MINIATURES<BR>DOMINATE ORIGINS AWARD NOMINATIONS</B><P>April 8, 2003 (SEATTLE) — The Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design has released their Origins Awards nominees for 2003, and collectable miniatures games (CMGs) dominate this year’s ballot. WizKids, LLC, the company that invented the category, received 14 nominations in 10 game and game-related fiction categories, including three of five nominations for the highly coveted Game of the Year award.<P> “We’re completely thrilled,” said Jordan Weisman, founder of Wizkids, LLC. “These nominations validate all the hard work we’ve done to make the most collectable, most playable games on the planet. I’m extremely proud of everyone at WizKids.”<P>Voting for the awards is open to the public as well as members of the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design. Ballots can be cast at the Academy’s website at <A HREF=http://www.aagad.org>www.aagad.org</A>. “We hope everyone will vote for WizKids,” Weisman added.<P>The company has received Origins Awards in the past, taking Best Science Fiction Fantasy Miniature and Best Vehicular Miniature awards in 2001 and the Origins Vanguard Award in 2000.<P>The complete list of WizKids’ Origins Award nominations for 2003 is as follows:

Actually, believe it or not, their success in getting nominated may cost them the actual award.

Imagine you want to see WizKids take Game of the Year. Do you vote for Mage Knight, MechWarrior or HeroClix?

If, for example, MechWarrior and HeroClix *weren't* on the ballot, would you vote for Mage Knight just to show your support for WizKids?

And if so, how many of those votes will now be diluted because they can only support one of the three nominees?
