A new segment, a give away, news, previews, $3 Theme Teams, and Common Justice. Does it get better?

This week, Rob and Jay get new nicknames, Jay sings a song about Captain America, we learn what the internet is truly made up of, and we continue our march towards the Dark Knight Rises and Chaos War releases. Stay tuned to the end of the show for the reveal of our $3 Theme Team contest winners!

Our introduction song is "616", produced by Vincent Vandal, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "You Dare Call That Thing Human?" The outro is "The View From Eternity", produced by Ruckus Roboticus, performed by Adam Warrock off the album "The War For Infinity."

You guys are going to get a guy all verklempt with the nice things ya'll keep saying about us. So, I'm gonna post the dials we created in episode 6's new segment, 'Drunk Dials'. Let us know what you think!

Team: Street Fighter
Range: 0 :bolt:
Keywords: Warrior

:m-boot: Oil Slide: Hakan can use Charge and if an attack roll during the Charge hits and the dice read doubles, Hakan can choose not to knock back his opponent and increase the damage dealt by 1. This increase does not replace the damage increase for rolling a critical hit
:g-starburst: Oil Combination Hold: Once per game, Hakan may be given a Double Power Action to deal 3 unavoidable damage to an adjacent opposing character that can use Leap/Climb or possesses the "Wing" or "Wing Transporter" symbol.

Layla Miller
Team: X-Men
Range: 0 :bolt:
Points: 141
Keywords: Latveria, X-Factor, Mystical
m-boota-fistd-normalg-starburst7916279151691516815168151000000000000000000000000KOKOKOKO:star: I Know Stuff: Layla Miller can use Probability Control and Super Senses
:star: We'll Be Married Someday: Layla Miller can use Perplex, but only to target characters whose name contains "Madrox" or "Multiple Man"
:m-boot: Resurrection: If an adjacent friendly character would be KO'ed, roll a d6 that may not be rerolled. On a result of 6, the character is not KO'ed and is put on their last non-KO click. That character may not be healed for the rest of the game. This may be done only once per game per friendly character.
:a-fist: Doomtech: Layla Miller can use Barrier (as if she had a range of 3) and Force Blast.
:g-starburst: Doom's Magic: Friendly characters with the X-Factor keyword ignore opponent's Mystics team ability.

Mitch Shelley

Range: 0 :bolt:
Keywords: Mystical

When Mitch Shelley would be KO'ed, instead put him on his card and add a Resurrection token to his card. If Mitch Shelley is on his card at the end of your turn, roll a d6 that cannot be rerolled. If the die roll is greater than the number of Resurrection tokens on his card, place Mitch Shelley in your starting area and turn him to the click equal to the number of Resurrection tokens on his card. Mitch Shelley is KO'ed if he is on his card and you control no other friendly characters
:star: A New Power For Each Life: At the beginning of the game and when Mitch Shelley is put back on the map due to his trait, roll a d6. Compare the result to the table below. Mitch Shelley possesses the powers listed until a Resurrection token is added to his card. 1: Charge and Super Strength 2: Defend and Support 3: Force Blast and ES/D 4: Incapacitate, two targets and a range of 7 5: Plasticity and Invulnerability 6: B/C/F and Combat Reflexes

Er...ok, first time using the dial generator. All those zeroes? Totally should be KO's. Just picture it...in your mind...

So, I love that you actually got Nikki's poison to work, I have played her about 5 times in the last month and I have yet to ever get an actual click of Poison damage on anybody. For some reason people hate the Poison and as soon as I actually manage to base somebody with Nikki she gets shot all to hell. It generally ends up working out in my favor because one of my hitters gets a few more shots in but still frustrating.

I also rarely end up getting Magus on the board, I generally switch out if Adam is going past about click 5, and mostly people don't like Magus out there and often people seem to go in for the kill when I do end up switching.

I am glad my team worked out so well for you.

Holy hell! And my question!

That penetrating Poison on Surtur is very smart, the hardest part was finding a way to deal one damage end dial to people, we ran out of objects and blocking terrain to target very quickly.

For sure your thoughts on the dials of the SDCC Giant Man & Ant-man preview. Can you also speculate which characters you would live to see in the Avengers Chaos War set?

So.... we certainly did talk for 2+ hours last night. Maybe 90 minutes of good solid content.... that was completely unusable due to an air conditioning vent pointed directly at the microphone. :( Darn you Florida and your terrible terrible heat! So we will have to re-record. Stay tuned for updates, gang.

Ouch!

Heck with all the previews that have come out over the last week you could probably spend a whole show just talking about new pieces.

I like Curse's question above about what you would like to see in the Chaos War Set. I would like to see a new Darkhawk (love me some Darkhawk) but I see that as very unlikely.
