Setting: Abandoned parking lot with scattered old trucks and parts
Round 1-
• Professor X’s mental powers allow him to sense the Bat-team before they see him, so the X-Men move first. Rogue flies the Professor to the top of a nearby building where he can safely watch the action. Jean moves next to a large engine lying on the pavement, keeping herself semi-hidden behind a large truck. Wolverine pops his claws and begins to rush his enemies.
• Batman and Nightwing use their zip-lines to head to the top of separate buildings. The Blue Beetle takes cover behind a large truck.
Round 2 –
• Cyclops takes off to the left side of the lot, while the other X-Men assess the situation.
• Robin moves to Blue Beetle’s side, while Catwoman climbs up to the far side of the building Nightwing is on. Huntress joins them up there.
Round 3-
• Rogue leaves Professor X and swoops down on Batman.. Wolverine charges into the middle of Robin and Blue Beetle, while Cyclops continues his movement despite the strain to take a running shot at Catwoman. His powerful optic blast hits Catwoman and she is hurt badly.
• The X-Men have drawn first blood, but Team Batman strikes back hard. Batman uses his wits to lull Rogue into a vulnerable state, then hits her hard. Blue Beetle uses his force blast to repel Wolverine before the feral mutant can take a swipe at he or Robin with those sharp claws. Meanwhile, Nightwing drops down on Cyclops to see how the mutant will do in some good old fashioned hand to hand combat.
Round 4-
• Professor X tries to save Rogue by using a mental attack on Batman, but Batman’s heightened senses are too strong and the attack fails. Rogue, despite still reeling from Batman’s attack, zips back to Professor X to try to recover. Meanwhile, Jean takes the offense, using her telekinesis to whop a discarded engine into Catwoman, taking the Kitty out, and making her the game’s first casualty. Catwoman KO’d by Jean Grey
• Batman moves again, using his incredible willpower to keep going. He zips a batarang at Wolverine damaging the mutant. Robin acts fast to unleash a cloud of smoke clouding Wolverine’s path to both the Boy Wonder and Blue Beetle. Finally, Huntress zips down from the building to join Nightwing in battling Cyclops.
Round 5-
• The X-Men’s big gun, Cyclops, is able to elude the double team of Nightwing and Huntress, and as he flees, he takes a well aimed shot at Batman on the top of the building, hitting the Dark Knight hard. His way to Robin and Blue Beetle blocked by Robin’s smoke cloud, Wolverine leaps over to Nightwing and Huntress, claws bared.
• Nightwing uses an acrobatic attack to damage Wolverine, while Batman throws a batarang from the rooftop, hitting Cyclops.
Round 6-
• ProfessorX absorbs some of Rogue’s damage and she heads back into the fray, targeting Blue Beetle. Jean takes position next to a large garbage dumpster. Wolverine swipes at Nightwing, but he’s able to use his acrobatic ability to dodge the attack.
• Batman again fires a batarang at Cyclops, doing more damage to the staggered mutant. Robin gets in a shot at Rogue with his bo-stick, while Wolverine evades an attack by the Huntress.
Round 7-
• Despite attacking last round, Wolverine is in full battle fury mode, he uses his claws to cut up Nightwing. Cyclops attempts to blast Batman, but the two hits have him rattled, as his optic blast misses. Nightwing KO’d by Wolverine.
• Blue Beetle attacks Rogue, but she manages to dodge his attack.
Round 8 –
• Jean uses her TK to hurl the garbage dump at Batman, giving the Caped Crusader his first damage of the fight. Rogue retaliates by attacking the Blue Beetle and draining some of his energy to heal herself.
• Batman, reeling from the damage, still manages to hit Cyclops with one more ranged attack, knocking the mutant out cold. Robin and Huntress double team Wolverine, with both of them getting shots in. Blue Beetle also gets some revenge on Rogue, after hitting her with a Beetle blast. Cyclops KO’d by Batman ; Wolverine KO’d by Huntress
Round 9 –
• Their two big guns downed, Professor X, Jean Grey and Rogue are now fighting alone. With Batman hurt, Prof. X is able to mind control the Dark Knight temporarily, and under Professor X’s control, Batman attacks Blue Beetle, knocking his friend from the battle. Blue Beetle KO’d by Professor X.
• With Blue Beetle down and Batman under the X-Men’s control, Robin and Huntress take a moment to regroup.
Round 10 –
• Jean moves toward some discarded construction equipment, while Rogue breaks away from Robin and heads back to the Professor.
• Batman takes a shot at Rogue as she flees, and hits the young mutant, doing more damage. Huntress takes off after Jean, while Robin goes for Professor X.
Round 11 –
• Jean sees Huntress coming, so despite the strain, she hurls the discarded construction equipment at Batman with her telekinesis, finally knocking Batman from the fight. Professor X absorbs more damage from Rogue, healing her again. Batman KO’d by Jean Grey.
• Robin hurls a batarang at Rogue, but the flying mutant avoids it.
Round 12 –
• Rogue flies down to engage the Boy Wonder.
• Huntress reaches Jean Grey
Round 13 –
• Professor X uses his powers to take over Huntress’ mind. Despite the strain, he forces her to attack Robin with a crossbow bolt, wounding the Boy Wonder. Jean Grey also hits Huntress with a solid blow, giving Huntress even more damage.
• Despite his wound, Robin takes a shot at Rogue, finally damaging the mutant.
Round 14 –
• Rogue retaliates, hitting Robin with a solid punch which finishes off the Boy Wonder. Robin KO’d by Rogue.
• Huntress realizes she fights alone, but doesn’t give up. She damages Jean Grey with a physical attack.
Round 15 –
• Rogue swoops in to help Jean battle Huntress
• Huntress regroups
Round 16-
• Jean attacks Huntress but misses.
• Huntress retaliates by hitting Jean, finally knocking the mutant from the fight. Jean Grey KO’d by Huntress.
Round 17-
• After watching her teammate fall, Rogue finally ends things by hitting Huntress with a big blow that knocks the final Batman combatant out of the fight and gives the X-Men the victory. Huntress KO’d by Rogue.
