Heroclix PDF Files

I've have the new FAQ for DC and Marvel on 4 pages, plus a combined PAC, an expanded
PAC (incoporates the FAQ), Figure listings
and a link DB (which is not very full yet).

:p Hey, no problem whenever you get around to it is fine. Love the PDF's, extremely useful. Great work. What did you create the form in Excel, Acrobat, or Illustrator? Oh, hey on the next generation is it possible to use CYAN instead of a medium blue for PC, MC, Barrier, Incapacitate. It hard distinguish between the medium & dark blue. Besides that the PDF’s are an extraordinary asset to the game. I have been studying them for days now. I could edit them for you if you wish? I use XML/XSLT/FOP. So I got a little program that fetches the data from this side, generates a XML from it. From this file XSL & FOP generate a PDF from it. Only takes like 20min for a new series of figures, where downloading the data is the longest part.

What RGB values would you like for PC, MC, Barrier, Incapacitate? I think they come out different on different printers. There is also a BW version for the visually impaired like me, I never get the colors correct :)

:eek: Wow, that is a lot of work. It good to see we have a programmer in house. Computer Science Major? I'm Network Manager. Not much of a programmer, but I dabble. Anyway, I found the best RGB values for CYAN are R=0,G=255,B=255. BROWN values are R=150,G=100,B=0. All of the other values look sufficient

How do you download the data and create the XML? I have a Random Figure Generator that I wrote, I update the application with an XML file I get from BattlePlanner. But they don't use a schema so they sometimes change their format on me.

Do you dynamically create the XML, or do you create it by hand :eek: :confused:

I parse the HTML page, so it is dynamically. But the XML file from battleplaner looks fine, too.

I updated all lists, but the colors are still the same, btw which power has the color cyan?

I'm thinking about providing alternate color schemes with the above mentioned colors.

I hope there are no errors ...

CYAN POWERS (R=0,G=255,B=255)
Speed = Mind Control
Attack= Incapacitate
Defense = Barrier
Damage = Probability Control

BROWN POWERS (R=150,G=100,B=0)
Speed = Hypersonic Speed
Attack= Poison
Defense = Impervious
Damage = Perplex

How about an update for Indyclix? All the work you have done is terrific and amazing useful. I pass out the PDF's at my venue. And, most of my players are asking when I will have an updated list including Indyclix. I realize you are extremely busy, but I find that your work is indispensable. Anyone in this forum should accredit you with a valiant effort!!!!!

Hi Dolemite,

Two questions;
1) Can you post the Critical Mass XML. I would like to use it to update my figure generator. I don't trust my newest files from WizKids. They have changed the password, so I can't get the actuall stats.

2) Where are you in Germnay, and do you play locally anywhere? I ask because I am in Germany about every 8 weeks or so and can not even find a store to buy figures at.

Just One Small Problem, your program is ignoring the new powers & the new powers colors. It is eliminating from the Table. (Look at Shazam!, Magog, Mr. Bones, Nu'bia, Metallo, Black Adam-Rookie, Big Barda, Queen Bee, Cyborg, Bat Girl, Kobra, Rocket Red, Cheshire, Scarecrow, Hawkgirl)

The New Power Color is Dark Yellow.

Movement = Earthbound
Attack = Quake
Def = Combat Reflexes
Dam = Exploit Weakness

They also added Probability Control, finally, to DC, but your program already has a definition for this Color.

There was an error in the Ultimates list, some figs had no move stats. This has been fixed.

Is the Expanded Pac up to date?

Because I'm reading that you're supposed to give an action token during mind control, and If I remember correctly now the character gets a free movement, right?
